The best neighborhood restaurant in the south end! The service is always perfect, and the food is always delightful. I had the limone pasta and my partner had the burger. A waitress overheard me wishing him a happy birthday and they sent over champagne. No wonder it's been our favorite place for more than 10 years.
The hostess and our server were both phenomenal. Unfortunately my request for a booth in my reservation was not honored even though one was available. Also the table was way too small to handle the size of the plates and the cocktails we ordered. And the cocktails were way too expensive, but good.
Metropolis located in the south end is one of Boston's best neighborhood restaurants. The food quality, and the great service are all consistent and we always have a wonderful experience. This review is for brunch which is delicious and again one of the best in the city. I highly recommend Metropolis.
