Cute newer restaurant in the heart of Roslindale. Atmosphere indoors and out on the patio makes the restaurant feel homey, and tucked away in its own cute nook of the world. Friendly staff. Delicious drinks and food. Menu and decor both creative and inviting. Service was rather slow. And, upon arrival, the setup for my part of 7 was not at all what I had requested (indoor rectangle table setup rather than circular table patio seating as previously requested). This was my first time at Midnight Morning and the food was excellent. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, one egg scrambled with cheddar cheese, and bacon. All three were very tasty! I tried some of my friend's home fries and they were also good. Service was ok - after we received our food, our server never came back to see how things were and then I had to finally get her attention to ask for the check. Besides that, there were no issues. Will definitely be going back!
