One of the best dining experiences of my life. It’s very intimate (only 9 diners when we went), plus the hostess and two chefs in a small room. It was quiet but I’m sure with the right mix, people might talk more. We were celebrating our anniversary and kept to ourselves. If you want a memorable omakase experience go here. It was also the most “affordable” I found in the area but there’s lots of additions and courses you could add.
This is a favorite spot for my fiance and I - we've come here two separate times to celebrate our anniversary/my birthday (about a week apart so we often do one "big" date to celebrate both), and it's been incredible both times. This was a lovely experience celebrating our anniversary. The food was great and met expectations. The sake pairing elevated the meal and was well curated. The chawanmushi was good and I’m not big on them normally.
The only odd part (I say odd because we’ve done over 3 dozen omakase and never experienced this) was the owner/ manager talking us through the courses. I’ve only ever heard directly from the chefs.
