We have been to No Relation several times when visiting Boston, as we live about two hours away. We have never had a bad experience, in fact, we have always left there saying it is our favorite Omakase experience. The staff is always amazing, explains things very well, and are very accommodating. And additionally, they are very fun and engaging. We will be back!
The ambience and atmosphere was great. The customer service of the chefs and server were amazing as well. I really appreciated how warm and welcoming they were and the music selections. It's modern, vibrant, and hip. My only thing is the menu/food. While some dishes were pretty good, others felt lackluster, unbalanced, or just... something you could find anywhere. For omakase, I look for a menu that's cohesive, delicious and a unique representation of the place or chef....
Fantastic hidden gem at the end of the Shore Leave restaurant, a small setting for 8 people to go through a delicate yet vibrant Omakase experience. Somehow feel the price is a litle over the top, but still worth it on a special occasion.
