I'm picky about Italian food. I have nothing but good things to say about Panza. It's not a very big place, but it's very lively with attentive service. The food (eggplant parm) was excellent, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone searching for a great place in the North End.

YUM. This place got us seated at a table quick and our food only took about 10 minutes to come out. We ordered the wild mushroom & goat cheese spring rolls for an appetizer and they were very unique and flavorful. For entrees, my fiance ordered the special of the day (squid ink fettuccini with shrimp and scallops in puttanesca) and I ordered the linguine alla pescatore with fra diavolo sauce (pictured). Scallops where tough and several had sandy texture. The risotto was watery and rice was like regular rice. More like a jambalaya than a seafood rissto. Very disappointed. Our apps were good.
