Assaggio offers amazing Italian cuisine with phenomenal desserts and drinks. The restaurant has a comfortable and elegant ambiance, making it a lovely place to dine. The food is incredible, particularly the flavorful pasta, carbonara, lobster ravioli, and short rib. Guests have described the filet and tuna as to-die-for. The service is fantastic, with attentive and personable staff who are flexible with requests and give excellent recommendations. Johan, an excellent server, is known for being extremely accommodating. The manager, Donato, ensures top-notch service and truly cares for his customers, going the extra mile to make them feel valued. Guests appreciate the complimentary bread service and desserts, along with the flexibility regarding arrival times. With an overall great experience, Assaggio is definitely worth a visit in the North End for authentic Italian food.
