Tuna tar tar and shrimp were delicious, cod was ok but would order again . We really enjoyed it and good value . Will be back .
We had a wonderful experience at Para Maria, the house-made guacamole and tuna tartare were exceptional along with the service. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, we look forward to our next visit!
Had such a great experience at Para Maria! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Our server Luiza was amazing — super friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. She really made the night extra enjoyable. Can't wait to come back!
The staff was incredibly friendly and food was amazing! I ordered the corn ribs, salsa and smash burger and they were delicious! Definitely will be back
An unforgettable dining experience, the service was excellent and every dish from large to small was incredible packed with flavor, great location cocktails are spectacular as was the fine selection of wine available.
The smaller plates were delicious, you have to try the salsa and empanadas. Their cocktail menu is sneaky good
This place doesn't deserve to be in business. Met a friend for breakfast while visiting Boston. No one came to the hostess stad for at least 5-10minutes. Debated leaving and wish we had. Didn't other telling them I'd made a reservation since the place was practically empty. No waiter came to table for at least another 10 minutes. Food was all around terrible. Pathetic.
The plus points were that both the food and service were excellent. The negatives were that it was really quiet so had no atmosphere.
Food was alright. I wouldn't recommend to a friend but it wasn't awful. We asked for mimosas and couldn't get them until 11am. Just a meh experience
Terrible place.. overpriced, shrimp portion was a joke and the fried chicken was so greasy it was inedible. DO NOT GO

The menu wasn't as I expected, I would have thought there would be more “Cuban Food” options
Food was pretty good. Not much to choose from on the dinner menu. Barking Crab next door was packed. This place not so much.
Para Maria is one of my most favorite restaurants in Boston!! The food is exquisite and delicious without being pretentious or pompous! The drinks are imaginative and surprising and always mixed perfectly!! The familial atmosphere is comfortable without being intrusive! The staff is attentive and knowledgeable without airs or pressure! I adore this restaurant, love its chef, and count on it as one of the places I take family and friends without hesitation!! Long live Para Maria!!
Hi, I am writing to encourage individuals to not go to Para Maria. We dined there 6/26/25 as a party of 8. The food was terrible. The fish of the day was very dry and we had to add multiple lemons to be able to eat it; it was also very bland and lacked flavor. The birria empanadas did not taste like birria; the empanada crust was very thick; meat lacked flavor; and birria sauce didn't taste like birria. We were celebrating a special family reunion which I put in the notes when I made the reservation on Open Table. No one acknowledged our reunion or made us feel special. I even told our waitress and she said nothing. The worst part is that our waitress dropped silverware as she was clearing the table. It went to my back. Only by the grace of God, the knife landed horizontal. Otherwise, the knife could have landed vertically and stabbed me. I ate here once several years ago and it was great. This time was terrible and the last time. Please go elsewhere!
Overpriced. Slow service. Had the burger it was good the serving size was way too large. Cocktails were tiny and more expensive than the food items.
