My favorite place to get bagels, so tasty and fresh. The service is great. Although I wish the inside had more space and quiet for studying. 10/10!!

Fantastic coffee! The staff was lovely too, everyone was in good spirits despite a very clear rush happening.
We got iced coffees with lots of half and half (which appeared to be from a local farm š©š¼āš¾).

I was here for a seasonal latte & wifi after a quick trip to the Apple Store around the corner; I will return for the winsome baristas and to sample the actual food. Canāt beat bantering with poets & anthropologists while taking care of business š

The barista on the afternoon of January 23 made me the best latte I have drank. Quick & friendly service. I only wished I didn't live 6 hours away!

Not a fan of whatever they used for vanilla syrup in the cold brewā¦likely sugar free but ruined the coffee.

We stoped by Pavement on a windy December day and got hot coffees to warm up ourselves. It is a good place to get some fresh coffee and some pastries. We liked the coffees.
Baristas were pleasant and the orange mocha was delicious. Full bodied and rich. My daughter loved the hot chocolate as well. Cute interior but small, so be prepared to take out rather than dine in during peak hours.

My friends and I were at Pavement Coffee around 2 p.m. today. Weāre regular customers and huge fans of Pavementās food and beverages, but our experience this afternoon was far from enjoyable.
During our visit, my friend accidentally spilled my matcha on the floor. We immediately informed the staff and grabbed napkins to clean it up ourselves. While we were on the floor cleaning, an employee approached us and, in a very disrespectful tone, said, āIām going to need you guys to move out of the way.ā I was taken aback by their tone, but I tried not to dwell on it, understanding that accidents can be inconvenient.
However, as we were finishing our food, we overheard an employee named Jude loudly bad-mouthing us behind the counter, calling us āout of touchā and continuing to talk about us to coworkers even after noticing we were still sitting there. (Espresso machines donāt block voices unfortunately)
My friends and I felt extremely disrespected over a minor accident, and this interaction has unfortunately ruined our view of Pavement. Experiences like this make it difficult to want to return in the future.

We come to Pavement all the time, so this has nothing to do with the food or the drinks. But if you are going to āgossipā about customers make sure they actually leave the store first (customer service 101). We accidentally spilt a matcha on the ground and went to the counter to grab napkins since the other bins were empty. Sorry didnāt know that was rude! Someone came over to clean it up and asked us to move when two of us were on the ground cleaning it up, so we didnāt see them approach. They told us to move rather rudely (fine I get it we also work customer service and people suck). We were never made another drinkānot the end of the world. But donāt then loudly gossip about us being āout of touchā behind the counter when weāre sitting right there. We also work minimum wage, so letās not assume any. Be kind and gossip in private next time. Thank youš©·

Great bagel. Loved
One nice female one snotty male (dyed gray hair with a mullet and crooked mustache) running the counter. Boys need to learn service in service industry, which more than anything is just to be nice to your customers and not act put off by a simple request - like can I get an extra cup. I mean itās okay to charge me for the cup. Itās not okay to give me your huffy attitude.

I was in town for a conference, and this was relatively near the venue. I went in to order the first time and did take-out the next because it was that good! Limited seating inside, but service is relatively quick so youāll be on your way soon. The matcha was alright, felt more milky than matcha but still good.

I can't say enough about this coffee shop. We were here for a week on vacation and came every single day. Their breakfast bagels were amazing and coffee was great. But above all, their service was phenomenal. And they're also allergy friendly and aware, which is a great thing to have for a coffee shop. I highly recommend.
