Came here for dinner on a Sunday night after a tiring day and the food hit the spot. I got the Hainanese chicken rice and watercress with spicy Malaysian shrimp paste. Food came out really fast (5 mins) and the staff were very attentive. The chicken rice itself was very good, but the chicken was slightly over cooked. Overall, it was good for the price. The watercress was surprisingly good - I haven’t had this dish in a long time, but it was a bit overpriced for a vegetable dish....

We are very familiar with Penang Malaysian Cuisine and were excited to return to this location. We have dined here before and have also been long-time fans of their other location in Philadelphia, which we have visited for many years. Penang has always been a favorite of ours and consistently delivers an authentic and satisfying Malaysian dining experience.

I’m originally from Malaysia so I’m always missing Malaysian food and I look for Malaysian restaurants everywhere I go. I was excited to try the food at Penang Malaysia and I ordered my favorite Malaysian dish: nasi lemak. The chicken curry in the nasi lemak was good and so was the acar but there was NO SAMBAL! Nasi lemak without sambal is not nasi lemak, IMHO. So i have to give this a 3 star. It tasted good but was definitely far from excellent without the nasi lemak....
