Arrive 15 minutes to my reservation and still had to wait 15 minutes to get my table. The restaurant had a musty odor that smelt like a cats litter pal. Ordered the onion dip (tasted like they took hell of a good dip from stop & shop and put it in a bowl) and the tempura cauliflower (blander and no flavor) to start. For mains had the prosciutto and pear pizza (not horrible but had better) and brussels sprout salad (best thing i ate… says a lot). The Cucumber gin spritz was delicious. Music was good but too loud to actually talk. Overall a one and done restaurant. Also staff weren’t that good either

Almost perfect. Really cute lil spot in Southie. Can’t seem to decide if they want to commit to being upscale or not. Certainly priced at the higher range. The food and cocktails (mostly) live up to the price, but feels like service and decor don’t quite match up. Would love it if Petula’s was a bit more affordable to make it a regular go-to spot, but for now it remains a worthwhile indulgence.Vegetarian options: Great for pescatarian. Veggie options, but not a lot well balanced with protein.

My husband and I had a reservation at Petula’s after his game at Gillette Stadium… so you can imagine how hungry we were. We arrived at 7:30 pm and were not attended to until 7:57pm. No one came by to even offer water. This was our second time there, and the first time we had a great experience, however, we will definitely not be going back. We felt super disrespected.

Horrible service, food was not good, and the atmosphere wasn't worth it. Save yourself!

Came here for dinner we ordered the vodka pasta, fries and they also served a mocktail. I really like the pasta and I loved how pretty the restaurant is! They have a nice bar area and sometimes it's a little loud. Definitely make reservations since it can get busy. Nice neighborhood restaurant in Southie!

Excellent food and even better ambiance. We had the vodka pasta, smashburger, and the skillet cookie and all were excellent. The value was great and the potions were large despite what the other reviews said. The service was great as well. All to say I'll be back!

Came on a Sunday for brunch at 12:30. It was crowded when we arrived and pretty loud - the space is tightly packed - but within about an hour it had cleared out a bit and quieted down. It's a nice space but does feel a little overcrowded. Service was fine. The waitress commented on the pace I was eating at which was a little uncomfortable but other than that, no complaints. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with no meat. I saw some complaints that it's overpriced but $13 for a breakfast sandwich, hash brown patty, and side salad seems pretty fair to me for Southie. The sandwich was yummy! The tomato jam was a nice touch to balance out the richness of the egg and cheese and buttery bun. The hash brown and the salad were both good too. Salad had a nice, fresh, lemony dressing. Nothing exceptional but tasty. Overall happy with my decision to have brunch here.

From the moment we approached Petula's, I knew I was in for something different and the menu, staff and chef did not disappoint! We started with an "app" of sweet potato pancakes with candied pecans, spiced maple syrup and orange blossom whipped cream!! A variety of egg dishes were then thoroughly enjoyed by all. Plenty of options offered and a nice variety to the menu to keep one coming back for more!! Cannot wait to return-Thank you and appreciate your dedication to quality food and experiences and wish you all the best for 2024!

Chic & cozy restaurant in south Boston. We went on a Saturday early afternoon for lunch & it wasn’t too busy. We had made reservations though.Parking in the city is a problem but we got lucky with street parking close by.The food and cocktails were pretty good, service fast & efficient. We liked that the menu was small & everything on it looked good. We ordered a bunch of stuff to share & we all agreed the French toast was the best! Reasonable prices, great atmosphere and good food. Definitely will be back.
