For those who love to cook, sitting at the counter at Porto is the best! You have the opportunity to not only observe the process of how your order gets from the wait staff to the cooks and back to you in an efficient manner. And you get the opportunity for a personal, upfront discussion with the chef about the items being prepared. You get to see how carefully each dish is plated, including any garnish or special attention needed to making sure the dish looks photograph-ready....

Though the food, service and ambience were as great as ever, the newly revamped menu didn't seem as diverse as the old. One of my party ended up without an entree due to her dietary restrictions as there wasn't a salmon option.

This was our second time dining at Porto and it was excellent. Both plates I ordered ( Chopped Salad and Roasted Mushroom Mafalde) had a special touch that made them better than I expected which was a nice surprise. My husband had 6 Oysters, the Tuna Tartare and the Citrus Cheesecake and he was happy with his choices.
