Stopped in instead of going to Atlantic Fish - my go-to favorite. Vibe is modern. Bartender very nice. However, the menu is absurd - $19 for clam chowder and $49 for 4 scallops. The food was fine, nothing special. My guess is when the novelty wears off…this restaurant will not make the cut. It’s too bad that celebrity chefs think clam chowder at $19 is just what the neighborhood needs.

Ramsay's Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay offers a memorable dining experience with a mix of outstanding moments and some areas for improvement. The restaurant is praised for its great atmosphere and top-notch service, with attentive staff members who make guests feel welcomed and celebrated. Many reviews highlight the quality of the food, especially the Beef Wellington, which is often described as tender, flavorful, and beautifully cooked. The appetizers and desserts, such as lobster bisque, chicken wings, quinoa and green pea salad, tuna tartare, octopus, and the sticky toffee cake with caramel and ice cream, are also highly appreciated. The Parker rolls with butter are noted as incredible, and the desserts, especially the peaches and cream cheesecake, leave a lasting impression.
Guests who visited for special occasions, like post-wedding celebrations, found the experience particularly meaningful, thanks to the thoughtful hospitality from staff like Rocky and Tyler, who checked in regularly and added personal touches like “Congratulations” chocolates on desserts. The set menu and Express Lunch provide a variety of flavorful dishes that showcase the restaurant’s culinary quality.
However, some guests found the food not to be as memorable or as high quality as expected given the price. The beef Wellington received mixed reviews; while many found it excellent, others thought the seasoning and sauces could be better. Additionally, the ambiance at certain tables was uncomfortable, and some felt the overall experience did not fully live up to the Gordon Ramsay reputation. Despite these minor drawbacks, Ramsay’s Kitchen remains a recommended spot for those seeking quality food, excellent service, and a special dining atmosphere in Boston.
