Stopped in this past Friday with my wife and daughter for lunch. They only had one guy working both the counter and the kitchen. He was in the weeds - but he pulled it together and came through with one of the best steak subs I've had in recent memory!
My husband grew up in the neighborhood but we live in NC now. We visit every year and stop at Rizzo’s at least once per visit because pizza just isn’t the same in the south. During our visit earlier this week, our 4 & 5 year olds were being cranky little 💩’s. The guy working, who is there every time we visit, saw that our kids were cranky and showed compassion towards us and offered for us to take the kids behind the counter to watch how they make pizza. I work for a local non-profit and ordered a few pizzas for a youth program. They were ready on time and delicious! I’m reviewing to shout out the customer service- I paid with an organization gift card and was 4 cents short, and the employees were very kind and professional and told me not to worry about it. I was in a rush to return to the program and am grateful for the accommodation!
