Visited this establishment waiting on our flight back home. Also got hooked on the Oktoberfest while in Boston. Darn this beer for only being seasonal, what ever will we drink the rest of the year. This was our first visit to Boston, so I had to do all the cliche stuff. Had the clam chowder here. It was good. The drinks were pricy.
The Bloody Mary was good. Not the best I've ever had, but not bad... The fish tacos were surprisingly bland considering all the ingredients listed for them. Service was horribly slow, but I understand that's an issue wherever you go nowadays. Just at an airport, it just doesn't work that well. The prices were high, but I guess that's standard at an airport. Just seems WRONG, seein' as it's the same food / drink you'd get elsewhere. Once you get past security screening at an airport, your dining options quickly become limited. Still, this was our second experience with a Sam Adams at an airport (Manchester, NH being the other). My wife and I were told to sit where we wanted, and our waiter arrived in short order. My wife went for the personal margherita pizza while I opted for a turkey club sandwich; we both added soft drinks. The serving size was ample- the sandwich was big and the pizza a good size.
