Select Oyster Bar is one of our favorite Back Bay restaurants. My husband loves their Arctic Char and I love their mussels (among other dishes like Beet Salad and Anchovy Toast). We shared the Octopus that was outstanding. Their wine list is extensive and they have excellent wines by the glass. Alejandro and Eliza were our servers and never missed a bit in spite of it being crowded. It is always a pleasure to have dinner at Select Oyster Bar. We will be back next time we are in Boston.

Food was delicious as usual. Only two points: it was very hot. I was sweating as was one of our guests. We did ask for the temperature to be turned down, which took a little time but finally worked. Secondly, our table was right at the top of the stairs so I felt as if we were constantly in the flow of traffic with people bumping into my chair all night,

really great. Had some amazing blue fin crudo and the whole fish taverna style. Sat outside. Beautiful!

Had a great time. The food was wonderful. The service was outstanding. Highly recommended.

The food and service was great. The oysters taste very good. Other food was also very tasty. The environment is good with smaller size groups, larger groups may not hear everyone clearly. Wish there were deserts!

We are regulars there and for a good reason, or rather several. The seafood is of exceptional quality compared to most establishments in the region. The menu is well thought out with a few exciting specials. The service is friendly and efficient. And the terrace is still lively late September...and the Sancerre by the glass is perfect.

Food was amazing - we're return customers because of that, the ambiance in the back room and wonderful service. Always a wonderful experience.

Excellent East Coast oysters. Relatively small place. Sat at the bar. Very attentive servers.

Best place for oysters! Also, THE BEST lobster roll! They offer both cold and hot lobster roll options at lunchtime. Hot is definitely the way to go. Great food, service, and staff.

Good was amazing- oysters delicious. Our Server, James C., went above and beyond and went off menu so my son could have the lobster roll he was craving while in Boston! Thank you for an incredible experience!

I booked and paid credit card charge in advance as required because reviews were off the charts amazing. It was a very nice luncheon restaurant bar, but certainly not a five star restaurant. Oyster Presentation adequate at best. They were good, but I've had similar presented with fresh horseradish and all the fixings right on the serving platter. Bread served delicious and mussel prep nice. We were told because we booked 2 people only we would need to sit at bar but hostess eventually offered a table. Just saying it wasn't what we expected when you see such high ratings.

This place is just so cozy! They have an amazing menu with plenty of choices. This is my fourth time here, and every visit has been fantastic. The food is always consistent, and the staff is super friendly. I absolutely love their Aperol cocktails! Plus, they're open for lunch. I highly recommend this place.
