i ordered a to go here. unfortunately, it happened that the cashier, perhaps in her 20s or 30s, wearing thick make-up, and a little short, was very impatient and unpleasant!!! she kept raising her voice and not friendly!! if you cant do your job as a service oriented staff, go find a job somewhere else!!!

This was suppose to be half a duck! I got skin and some nasty calamari. Where is the thigh? Where is the leg ? Where is the breast? Not even close to half a duck.

Portions are extra small.

BBQ food was ok. But that $15 for a six piece of duck and 6 pieces of vigi. Kind of too much. And what’s behind that BBQ. Who knows???

Amazing food! The crispy pork belly was to die for. Portions are beyond generous for the price that you pay, would go again!

We visited ShoYu Boston on a Friday afternoon, just before the rush. After asking if we could dine with our well-behaved husky, the owner quietly nodded and welcomed us in.

We’ve ordered their roast duck and roasted pork for to go several times before and have always been happy with the flavor. This time, we tried some of their recommended specialties, and they didn’t disappoint—they were quite good.

With their clean restrooms and kind attitude toward my husky, I’d give ShoYu a solid 4-star rating. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Boston’s Chinatown.

This is a very small Chinese restaurant with only a few tables inside. The main business I guess is take out orders. There’s a big section of barbecue meats. It includes roast pig, barbecue pork, white chicken and barbecue ribs. I’ve tried everything except for the barbecue pork but I knew it’s good. The roast pig is the best. It has really crispy skin and all the meats are tasty. I always ordered barbecue meats on rice bento box which also includes Chinese greens. It’s 11.99 for 1 meat, 12.99 for 2 meats and 12.99 for 3. It’s really worth to order the 3 meats. Remember to ask for extra sauce on rice.
I always return.
