This was my go Mexican restaurant When I lived in Boston 30 years ago and I'm happy to say the food and drinks are just as I remembered. I brought my friends from SoCal which has no shortage of great Mexican food and they all agreed it was great.
Amazing food! The enchiladas verdes were some of the best I've ever had. And the sangria was great too!
Terrific food & great staff... Always fantastic - our favorite Mexican restaurant by far.

Enjoyed our time and food. The host was very friendly and the chicken fajitas were delicious.
Great people serving. Food was favorable, hot, and a good amount. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend it. Atmosphere was cozy.

Perfectly average food - the nachito was probably the highlight from what we ate.
The fajitas were okay, weird that they didn't give sour cream or cheese or even lettuce to build the fajitas with but maybe this is more authentic?
The atmosphere was overall good, it is a nice big spot so easy to get a reservation at almost any time.
I would not strongly recommend nor not recommend this location hence the rating. It was very decent, okay food.

While my sister was visiting from NY during rainy and windy weather, we decided to return share Sol Azteca with her. We were able to enjoy one another while enjoying sangria, delicious Veracruzana Salsa over Fish, with the traditional cabbage salad, frijoles, and arroz and ending with flan.... YUM!!! A perfect relaxing evening!
Delicious! We had an allergy in our party and they were very accommodating. The service was amazing. Will be coming back.

It's been many years since I've been here and I don't know why I waited so long. Great service- gave me habanero sauce when asked. Great food with generous portions. The black beans are smokey - super interesting. The sol spicy margarita was perfectly balanced. Will go again soon

The Best Mexican Restaurant in Boston. Excellent service from Luis and Elena. The Enchiladas Verdes and Mole are Authentic taste really well served. Every time we visit Boston we need to stop here for a Good Dinner.

The food here was delicious! The nachos were loaded with cheese and flavor, definitely a must-try. The burritos were packed, meaty, and fantastic, while the margaritas were refreshing and made perfectly. Great spot for a casual dinner, especially when the weather is good and you can sit outside!

The vegetarian enchiladas were to die for. The tampiqueno shrimp was average nothing too note worthy
Just like we remembered it, maybe better. We last ate here over 35 years ago when we last lived in Brookline. Recently moved back to Boston and went for old times sake prior to the Redsox game last night. Everything was still excellent, maybe better than before. Food was plentiful and reasonably priced. I had the veggie fajitas and they were spiced excellent! Some things (maybe like me), get better with age and sol Azteca is one
Amazing food and amazing cocktails. I cannot wait to come back
I've been coming to Sol Azteca for years and the food is exceptional. Do yourself a favor and try some of the specialties of the house! This visit I tried the Ensalada con Pollo al Grill salad, which I found to be a bit bland. But the core appetizers and entrees are truly delicious!
