I needed a place to rest my feet and charge my phone and after getting turned away from a few places (asking them if there was an outlet I could use), I was welcomed in at Spagnuolo’s. I ordered a salad and a cannoli, which were both delicious and fresh. The best part was the service. I could feel the love this family had for this place. It was sweet seeing the staff interact with each other and with customers, specifically with a young father and his two little boys. Would definitely recommend this place!

Authentic Italian cuisine at a price that can’t be beat. We got a gnocchi from the lunch menu and a small mushroom pizza (it was Huge!) and everything was delicious. The server was very nice to us and everything was obviously freshly made. Definitely recommend and will come again.

The pizza we ordered was good. We did not wait long for it to arrive. The staff was nice, clearly family owned and ran ( nothing wrong with that). The parmesan cheese was served in a bowl with a spoon in it, left on each table. The one we had was empty until the busboy noticed and took one of the bowls from another table and put it on ours. The fork and knife we were given were dirty. The floor was dirty. The dishes were old, having a lot of wear and tear. Overall, the pizza was good, the staff was ok, the restaurant itself was a kind of dirty.

This diner's environment is not for everyone, but for me it was an awesome experience. The food was very good and fairly worth the price. The service was quick and intentional. And the family owned aspect of the diner was very fun! Overall a great place, and I would certainly recommend checking it out if you can!

If you want a true Boston experience come here! Make sure you order your pizza extra crispy and LARGE for great flavor. The sausage was delicious. The older woman whose family owns the restaurant (since the 1800’s) is so sweet. She has 3 pictures of Donald Trump on her bulletin board. 🇺🇸 Large portions, hefty pours of wine, plenty of seating.

He started off with a very rude waiter, and it went downhill if that’s even possible. Ordered the chicken with spinach. It was the worst Italian meal I’ve ever had in my life, which is a long time. I go into the north end once a week and I thought I would try this restaurant. Turn out to be a nightmare. The chicken was old and couldn’t cut it with a knife. They serve the water in plastic cups. They couldn’t give me a knife other than a butter knife to cut the toughest piece of chicken you would ever get in a restaurant when we asked for extra salad dressing he practically threw it at us and when we asked for the check, we had to get up to go ask for it he was sitting down talking with his friend and we asked for the check. He sounded like we were putting him out so he yelled through the restaurant to someone else to get our check asking for separate checks pushed them right over the edge. Worst awful experience. I grew up in the north end, I could see why we were the only ones in the restaurant and all the other restaurants were busy as can be stay away from this place. I think it’s one of the few times in my entire life that I did not leave a tip.

I was extremely sick to my stomach 20 minutes later. Meatballs had no flavor. They only cook so much a day and at that point I wanted to run, but I had already ordered and it was too late. It was very sketchy and a complete waste of money. Please don't go. I will never ever be back.

Staff was very rude, except the older woman was very nice. I asked for charcuterie board with olives, they brought me an antipasto salad with raisins. The food was horrible. My chicken parmesan was dry, the sauce was watery, the spaghetti was flavorless, the eggplant was bland. It was all frozen, reheated. I spent most of the time in the rest room the next day. I would have checked the reviews. They were swearing at an employee in front of everyone.
The bill... I paid $20 for the chicken eggplant parmesan and $30 for the salad I didn't order. Disappointing

I’ve eaten a good amount of carbonara in my life, but this by far has been the best I’ve ever eaten. The people are wonderful and welcoming, it feels like a family when you walk in. Next time I am in the area I am %100 coming back.

My husband picked this out of the sea of places cause he loves old school restaurants and that is what we got! We appreciate the non fancy spots (& prices)
Owners reminded me of an old Italian Co-worker. To know him is to appreciate him!
Made our dish, Linguine w/clams, extra big cause i was sharing with my daughter who also wanted Raviolis and Calamari. All were delish! Def would order their homemade raviolis again! Comes with a salad (which was enough for the 3 of us) too! And the garlic bread was fluffy and amazing!
The pizza looked amazing too, wish we had more room!
Perfect lunch on the North End!

If you’re looking for an authentic Italian restaurant, this is it. It’s a family owned business, and it definitely feels that way!
