I visited the Starbucks located at 48a Northern Ave, Boston, MA 02210 today. Before placing my coffee order, I asked to use the restroom and politely requested the door code. I explained that I was planning to order right after, but I urgently needed to use the restroom first. The staff refused and insisted that I must make a purchase first.
I found this attitude extremely rude and lacking basic customer service. I was very uncomfortable and made it clear that I truly needed the restroom. Only after I quickly placed an order did they allow me to use it — which made the situation even more frustrating, because it felt unnecessary and inconsiderate.
Their lack of empathy and the way they handled the situation was disappointing. I will not be returning to this location.

I visited the store in the morning and, unfortunately, I received the wrong drink. When I attempted to clarify the situation with Gerson, he raised his voice at me in an unprofessional manner. This confrontation was shocking and completely unnecessary, as I was simply trying to resolve an honest mistake.
I believe that customer service should be grounded in respect and understanding. Instead, I felt belittled and disrespected during my visit. This experience has left a negative impression of your establishment, which I have frequented in the past.
I would appreciate an apology for the way I was treated.

We visited for a quick drink whilst in the Seaport area. I wanted to give a special mention to the team here, everyone is very kind and makes you feel welcome. Especially the barista with the pink hair, she was very cheerful and energetic which was a real delight. Keep up the good work!

The staff members at this Starbucks are incredible and kind. Regardless of the day or time - going to the Starbucks at this location is always a nice experience.
Shoutout to Gerson and the team. Always smiling, remember names, remember orders. Attention to detail is amazing. Nice work team!

The service is bad for being in a seaport location. This location was did not have a lot of people there but maybe because of the mobile orders the baristas kept telling all customers to go the other seaport Starbucks bc they couldn't take any more orders for 20 minutes. Later in the day we went again and same thing, service was slow, all we ordered was a brownie and they forgot to put in the oven, everyone before me got their order. And they started telling people to go the other Starbucks location

My drink was ok. I’d like to mention its customer service. I asked an associate to use my SB points for payment. On my way to exit I noticed that they charged my card balance instead. The associate did not say anything, no apologies. She just asked her colleague to resolve this. Her colleague also was super indifferent. So my one star to this place is for customer service.

The service is terrible at this place. The girl who does the service does not know how to prepare the orders and does not apologize when she does a bad job preparing what is ordered.

Ordered the salted caramel foam cold brew with light ice and this tastes more like dessert than an actual coffee. Would not recommend this drink. Ordering strictly black coffee from here on out!!
My wife and I stopped there Saturday evening 7/20/24. I wish I had gotten there names but there was a young woman and man working there and they could not have been nicer. They not only made the drinks to perfection, but were courteous and even engaged / were sweet to our 3yr old daughter. A stark contrast to what we've seen at other locations.
