Food took a long time which happens, but then the steamers were super sandy and the bouillabaisse though it tasted amazing, most of the mussels were empty. Lots of potential on an amazing chef but needs better quality

I had many fond memories at Summer Shack. Today was not one of them. We had a horrible server who was more interested in hurrying us up to make our orders even though the restaurant was largely empty. He could barely understand what we ordered, but thankfully all the food we ordered came out right.However, the quality of our food was dismal at best. The Grilled Salmon I ordered had cold charred asparagus and the Paella was god awful. It's like rice floating on seafood stock. What happened to the Summer Shack I used to love??

SHREK DRAG SHOW REVIEW -The whole show was such a scam! $46 for two tickets plus full price for all food and drinks, plus tipping the drag queens! Total scam! Would not recommend. There was one good drag queen there and that was it.

I have never posted a review before. My wife and I are visiting Boston during the winter and we ate dinner at Summer Shack last night. We ate at Atlanta Fish Co a few days ago and that was good too. We went to Pescador tonight and it was so very bad we paid the check, left the food and went back to the Summer Shack because it was so incredibly good. Recommend to all who love great shellfish and lobster. The best.

Great place to get a truly New England’s seafood taste!Since the small plates to the main dinner dishes, every bite is a pleasure, Calamari, Lobster rolls, Tuna poke bowl, and even the non sea food plates were amazing, bang bang chicken and the steak!The cherry on top was the variety of oysters they have in the raw bar, as well as the Oyster tuna sashimi, just amazing!Service and the ambiance was outstanding, definitely a must if you are in Boston.

Our first meal in Boston was here and it was delicious. The food is excellent and the service was friendly, fast and efficient. The only down point was the lighting inside. The restaurant feels more like a bar and it's difficult to really look at and enjoy the great food they provide.

I love this place so much! I come here often for drag brunch and the staff is always incredible beyond words and the food is so so yummy. Would recommend getting the praline french toast if you’re there for brunch! Check out the award winning drag shows held here, also!
