I came here for the Gaming. The food, Service, and atmosphere are all good, but not excellent. The games which are run by the staff are amazing, and highly recommended

Went for the Marvel Pre-Release. The MTG cards they have on hand are great and the staff are all super friendly. It was more spacious than it looks from the outside, multiple DnD rooms. I had a great time.

I recently moved here for the summer and was exploring Mission Hill when I found this place which was basically a one stop for fun board games, studying or work, coffee, drinks, and food. I frequently came to eat, drink, and play with friends and it was a wonderful experience. However, tonight I realize the business really needs to rethink training their staff and/or properly establishing business hours of operation. At a little after 8:30 PM, I decided to drop by with a couple of my friends to order their food to go. We were then promptly told that their kitchen was closed despite Google saying their kitchen closes at 9:00 PM, and the place itself closing at 10:00 PM. We were disappointed and decided to leave, but came back around 8:50 PM to get their cocktails (that’s how bad we like and wanted their food or drinks). We explicitly stated that we wanted to just sit at the bar and have some drinks. However, once again, we were refused at the door, being told that they were no longer serving food and coffee. They claimed they were still serving drinks, but a tall white male server/bartender in the back dismissively tells the host/server that they were no longer seating. At 8:50 PM. When they close at 10:00 PM. That is absolutely absurd and quite frankly just seemed like they didn’t want to serve us for no reason other than laziness and contempt. Please fix your hours and your staff’s attitude.

I usually love this place - the food and drinks are delicious - but the experience I had with my friends tonight was crazy. We arrived at 8:35 to grab food to-go and a drink while we waited. We were told the kitchen was closed - contrary to what the website lists as 9. We were a little disappointed at this, especially since the establishment closes 10, it seemed realistic to be able to get food at 8:30. Nonetheless, we went and got pizza somewhere else and came back to have a drink at 8:55. Then, we were told that they could not seat us - even at the bar - because last call for coffee had already happened, even though they said last call for cocktails hadn't happened yet. At this point, we got the memo - the employees looked at each other like they would rather eat a set of dice than serve us. At this point I'm pretty sure they were lying about the kitchen being closed in the first place. Overall, this place was determined not to take our money, even though we were still over an hour away from closing, with plenty of people seated at tables being served. Disappointing service from one of our favorite restaurants.

This place and concept is so cool. But more than that the staff is so nice and friendly!! Every single one of them. Maybe I got lucky today but I’ll definitely be coming back, even if I don’t want to play any games

A really cool spot to play Magic, although I imagine it's even better for DnD; the tables are clearly set up for ttrpgs, which makes playing magic a bit awkward. I had the pizza with pepperonis, it was small and tasted like it had been reheated from a frozen state. The beer selection on tap was minimal and uninspired but I can't turn down a couple of Jack's Abbey. Price of admission for the pre-release I attended was more expensive than I expected, especially considering the minimal prize support. Service from the female wait staff was prompt and friendly, less so from the male staff. The same is reflected upon the organizer of the MtG events, but this is to be expected from someone who's life revolves around MtG.

Drove 45 minutes on a Sunday for them to deny our seating because they decided to close 4 hours before regular closing time.

A cute little coffee shop for gamers. They have games for people just stopping by as well as reservable rooms for groups. You can snack and have beer while you play.
