I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the tavern for breakfast, dinner, and trivia and every time I had the excellent service of Jake! Definitely worth checking this place out.

The food is fine, the board game selection and atmosphere is really the appeal of this spot. They have a big selection of different games and rooms you can rent out for events.

Emily is the 🐐. Come drink here with Emily!
Emily is probably one of the sweetest people I know. on top of making the best drinks, she always makes all her customers feel welcome and heard, it's always a wonder watching her work.

Local staple with great events, especially the dungethon. The staff are the best you’ll find in Boston, especially Emily. Once in a 100 years level bartender. Give it a shot for trivia on Thursday.

have always had a pleasant experience with the staff. however, the owner does not respect his employees. be weary how much money you give this place. it is great for socializing and meeting new people that are into magic, d&d, and games alike. but the owner is known for not treating their employees well. the food is really good. the only time i've been served poorly was when the kitchen was understaffed since the owner does not staff properly, leading to the staff always having to work in unnecessary stress. i encourage you to buy less here, but tip the staff well because they deserve more compensation for the treatment they are having to work under.

As an establishment it’s fine. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there, but it was fine. Our waiter was super rude though. I was going to leave it but at the end he chose to make a snide remark as I was telling my girlfriend we had to pay on our way out. Unnecessary and uncalled for. Sort of a basic decency thing which you’d think someone would be better at when their job is to make an inviting space for people to come and overpay for canned beer.

Not just a plain cafe or bar. Such a neat place where you can use your brain while caffeinating yourself or unwind with a beer to use less brain capacity if thats your goal. Plus the bartender was welcoming and she didnt hesitate to sell hello :)

Hallie was great. She gave me 1000$ for no reason. I have really bad anxiety being around women and some animals and she made me feel really comfortable. Hallie told me that her coworker in the black smells (kept going off about this for some reason) idk I guess she just doesn’t like her or something. But she did it in a way that made me laugh. I actually made eye contact with the black shirt girl on the way out and almost pissed myself laughing LOL
