Tawakal Halal Reviews
I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget.

Delicious. I felt like I was in Ethiopia due to the lovely decor and the cozy feeling and the authentic food.
Delicious halal Somali restaurant inside the MIT Students Center food court. Food was sold over a counter in Styrofoam boxes. We had beef biryani which was tasty. Beware of the hot sauce offered separately. It is very hot. We were given tea for free.
Tawakal Halal is a hidden gem serving the best Somali food in town, now located inside the MIT Students Center food court. Their chicken and rice is a must-try, and the beef biryani is fantastic and bursting with flavor. The service is exceptional, with friendly and passionate staff offering complimentary treats like hummus, pita bread, and even free tea. Food is served over the counter in Styrofoam boxes, making it ideal for takeout. Enjoy their buffet-style halal options, including falafel and hummus, but beware of the very hot sauce offered separately.
