The Avenue Bar Allston

This place is an absolute gem. The food tastes delicious, the prices are worth it and the drinks are also really good. Harrison at the bar was so friendly and lovely. I wish he worked at all my favorites bars and restaurants in the city. He’s top notch!

Harrison was the best bartender I’ve ever encountered in Boston. He has the most friendliest vibes and took his time to explain everything on the menu. He shared insights on the many different beer selection on drafts. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all of my friends just because of his awesome service.

What time you go really does matter in terms of the atmosphere, but no matter what it’s been a great experience. Not a dive but feels inspired by one. The servers are good and the bartenders know a lot about the beers they offer. Great food and drinks for a phenomenally cheap price. The street corn is not mentioned enough. Two people: two alcoholic beverages, an app, two burgers with an upgrade to waffle fries was $60. That is unheard of in the Boston area.

Harrison and Kyle are the most accommodating and friendly bartenders I have ever come across! So eager to please and pleasant, they made my experience at the ave an 11/10 will def be frequenting!

An Allston institution if I could say so. Their veggie burger and vegan tacos are fantastic. I’ve been here a few times and have never had a bad experience. They also do a great pour of Guinness. Very pocket friendly too.

I LOVE The Ave. I have been going here for over 10 years. Same yummy burgers & cold beer. Super convenient right off the green line. Make sure to look out for different burger specials and events. I like my fancy cocktail as much as the next girl but this is not that. It's a dive bar. Have a lil fun.
