Went to the bar after the Sox game last night. Didn’t get the bartender’s name, but he’s fantastic. Fast, excellent service. Also, great beer and spirits selection. Cool stuff you can’t find easily in town.
We were a group of six people. We arrived half an hour before the kitchen closed. The bartender was nice and welcoming. He helped us with everything we needed. A great place for dinner with friends.
My son came into the city to have dinner with me and I suggested this place. I had been there once before and recalled the burger I had was good. The atmosphere is Irish 1920s and the place was deserted. I ordered the steak tips special with mashed and it was pretty good. My son tried the lobster roll in hot butter and he thought it was outstanding. Our server was friendly enough, but she had a tendency to disappear for stretches. Odd considering she only had two tables...
