Came in on a Friday ordered 3 drinks according to the posted the 3rd drink should’ve been free and without knowing this offer doesn’t support student id discount I asked for student discount. To my surprise the offer of this poster was not applied and when I asked about it I was notified it is due to I used my student discount, to which I told the cashier if that’s the case he can void the student discount and apply this one.
He then had the audacity to tell me he didn’t catch what I meant when I was pointing to the poster for deal, and when I repeat my question he simply went I don’t know how to do it. Train your staff better and don’t put deals up that’s aren’t even able to be redeemed, ridiculous

Whole experience from beginning to end was lacking.
The store is an eyesore and had some lingering moist smell.
The staff was not responsive, not welcoming, not helpful. I was met with reluctance and nonchalance. I had to ask for the featured discount - he didn’t apply it until I asked for it directly. The lid of the boba tea wasn’t fully sealed and leaked when I picked it up. When I told the employee, he was irritated that I asked him to do it right.
The drinks tasted bland and tbh I didn’t feel like finishing a drink that was so carelessly thrown together.
I wish I read the reviews here become coming. I used to really like Tiger Sugar.

Visited on 10Aug2025 afternoon and did not have a pleasant experience. The guy at the counter was not very welcoming and just overall did not really care at all. I will not be coming back as I have a much better experience at the many other boba tea shops in Chinatown.

DO NOT GO HERE. I wish I would’ve seen reviews before I went. I ordered a black tea with milk and boba. The drink I received was ONLY MILK and boba. I then asked the cashier if there was black tea in the drink and he said yes. The drink did not have any tea. It was only milk and it was extremely light. Not only did I only get milk, the person who made the drink lied to my face. Do not go here. Horrible tasting drinks and employees will lie about what you are receiving.

I ordered 4 drinks at Tiger Sugar. When the drinks were ready, they didn’t provide a bag or any way to carry them. I politely asked for a bag, and the staff gave me a bag and tray but tossed them onto the counter instead of handing them to me properly. It felt disrespectful and unprofessional.

Absurd customer service. Asked and paid for no ice or less, got a full cup of ice. Also mentioned for student discount while billing but they denied saying the bill is already out.
I didn’t order light sugar—please see the attached photo. Same ingredients, but the drink tastes completely different. It seems like the staff needs better training and quality control. Don’t get offended, take the feedback, and take action in order to continue your business.

This used to be my go-to boba spot, but the quality has seriously gone downhill. I ordered their signature drink—something I’ve had many times before—and it came without the cream mousse that it's supposed to have. That mousse is what makes the drink! Without it, I basically paid for an overpriced cup of flavored milk. At these prices, you’d expect consistency and quality, but clearly that’s no longer the case. Sad to say, but they’ve officially lost a customer.

Tiger sugar use to be so great. Not sure what happened. I ordered ahead through the online ordering for 3 of the brave as a Tiger drink and there's no brown sugar syrup in it ? It's so bland, just milk and boba. Probably will not return. Total waste of money.

Not good this time. Tiger sugar is usually geat and we have been to this location in the past but both of the teas we ordered did not taste good. Disappointed and would recommend going elsewhere unless the quality changes.
