best tapioca pearls in the universe fr
The one in Allston is much better, this is just an average boba tea place not what makes Tiger Sugar special
I’ve tried Tiger Sugar at many locations, but this one had the least impressive taste. The flavor was lacking compared to others, and the overall experience was disappointing.
Staff had bad attitude. Drink tasted bad. The boba tasted not fresh. I had the same drink in NY and Philadelphia. Never taste bad like this.
Only 1 staff and drinks missing ingredients
worst experience. you guys know cheese form is older then why using it. it cheaper to make it new everyday. I used to drink it a lot buy I guess they don't want repeated customers.
Waste of money & time.
Bad attitude staff but i love the boba 🙄🙄🙄
This location used to be my favorite place until today I brought my kids to get 1 chocolate , 1 pudding , and 1 mango . The mango was fine but the milk teas were the worst. I dont care about the cups being changed from plastic to paper, but the taste was completely different comparing to the drinks we got before. There wasn't brown sugar filling around the cup even after I tried to stirred for almost 2 minutes. All I tasted was just like 2 % mike and not even a full cup . The staffs before made the best brown sugar milk tea but today only one man making all the drinks by himself. Sorry to say this. Did u train him how to make a good Tiger Sugar milk tea as it used to be ???????
Visited today and ordered a mango sago drink and brown sugar milk tea. The brown sugar milk tea was fine (lil bland and like 5 bobas but whatever).
I took 2 sips of my mango sago and immediately felt like something was off. There was a sour taste from the cream that I can’t explain other than rotten. I hesitantly returned the drink to the worker and asked for a refund only to be met with an attitude. He slapped $7 in cash on the counter (i paid over $8 including tax on it). I was so blown away by the audacity I just collected my change and left. Funny thing is a girl had come in earlier as i was ordering who also asked for a new drink cuz hers tasted “sour”. Should’ve been a red flag.
It tasted too bad. It felt like the whole cup was filled with jam, overly sweet, and stale and a bit smelly. not fresh

Bizarre experience… today the cafe was completely empty and an alarm was going off. I waited for five minutes and filmed a video so that I could share with police in case there was a crime incident.
Finally, an employee comes out and looks at me. He says nothing while the alarm still sounds. I asked him what the alarm is about. He didn’t answer, but he turned it off and then asked me, “Do you want to order?”
I ordered three teas. He made them, although I could see that he was making them much faster than usual, he spilled milk, and I’m pretty sure he was skipping steps. As he sealed the drinks, I could see that the drinks were not filled to the top as usual.
I paid and wished him a good day. Again, he didn’t answer.
After coming home, I tasted the “Tiger Meets Coffee” drink and it did not taste like it usually does. I opened the lid and could see that there was no brown sugar syrup drizzle around the cup like you typically see in a Tiger Sugar or in the advertisements. And I didn’t see any cream mouse either. Attached is a picture of my “Tiger Meets Coffee” drink.
This incident was at 3:50 PM on Friday, Feb 28, 2025.
Tiger Sugar is one of my favorite boba tea shops, and this was an unusual experience. That’s why I’m not going to give it low star rating.
However, today was strange and disturbing. I hope that the employee gets any help that he needs.
As a customer, I should get the drinks I ordered made as advertised, with friendly or polite service. Certainly, ownership should not have customers waiting in an unattended room with an alarm going off for five minutes either.
I hope management will look into the incident and see what the issue was so that future customers have a better experience.
I visited today and found that they were out of medium cups, which was fine if they were offering hot drinks. I always order number #5, and it usually comes with pudding. However, today I received the worst #5 ever. It had only a little boba, some milk, and just a small amount of pudding. It usually has a brown color, but today it was too light even white. If you don’t have enough supplies (like pudding, boba, and milk tea) to make a normal cup, please don’t sell imperfect products like this. It was so disappointing!
Very unfortunate because it drinks are really good but the customer service here is absolutely terrible. Especially the cashier Alvin L. He was so rude and gave me so much attitude when simply asking how he was and proceeded to place my order. I asked him about the 2 for one special and he aggressively responded.
I don’t usually write review, but I feel like I need to address this issues. I also work in customer service and I have been to many different restaurants but I have never met any person as rude as him. I’m a fan of tiger sugar but this experience was a huge let down.
To management, I do not know if you are going to read this review or not but if you do, please look into this person behavior. I do not know his name, but he works on Wednesday, January 15 in the afternoon at around 3:30 PM. Thank you.
My girlfriend and I found that the store was running a "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" promotion, so we decided to visit on January 3rd night to get their signature milk tea. At the time, only one staff member was working the shift, and he appeared overwhelmed by the number of orders. When it was our turn to order, he seemed rude and impatient, showing a poor attitude and urging us to hurry. Although we selected a 0% tip on the payment terminal, the staff member later discreetly changed it to 15% without our consent. I also observed him doing the same to the customers who ordered after us. This behavior is theft and should be considered illegal.
