Top notch from start to finish. Four of us went mid day on Saturday. Had a reservation for 3pm so it wasn't super busy. Ordered the grilled calamari which is always excellent. We then split 2 pizzas and 2 salads. Pizza was thin crispy crust. We ordered the Quattro formaggi and the verdure. They were both very good..Everyone at the table was very pleased with their meal. Also ordered the tiramisu and creme Carmel for deserts. Not a traditional tiramisu but very nice. Creme caramel was excellent. The service was superb and the price was reasonable.

Toscana is Bolton gem on Charles Street in the Beacon Hill section. Fantastic food, comprehensive wine list, and amazingly attentive service make this place stand put.

Great food - excellent server. Loved everything about the evening other than one table (of 8) was very loud, and not respectful of other diners. It was the evening after the Boston marathon, so I guess they earned a pass.

Sadly our experience wasn't good! We've eaten at Toscano several times prior but seems like the service and food are lacking! Love the location!

We came for a late lunch and found even at a quiet time, Toscano's high standards remain consistent. We were greeted by both Amy and Richard (with whom we had time to discuss their recent chapter, and accolades, in a best selling author's latest release). We were fortunate that Daniel was available so we had his usual impeccable service. On a lovely day we started with incredible prosciutto and fresh mellon followed by bolognese for both (bolognese is a treat for us here, it is so good we limit it somewhat so we enjoy and remember all the other amazing treats on the menu). Of course we had the blueberry tart for dessert, though again, every offering is decadent. We shared two lovely wine selections, our favorite white and an incredible red selected by Amy. Before we headed out (to Logan for vacation) we booked our favorite hotel (The Lenox) on our return for one night just so we could come back for another evening at Toscano. Toscano is just that good.

The attention to detail cannot be overstated in the finer points of the meat and sauce seasonings and temperatures. Gnocchi and rigatoni cooked perfectly: melt-in-your-mouth softness for the former, and expert al dente for the latter. All of the staff members were excellent, Peter in particular.

Took in a first visit to Boston on our way home from San Francisco. Fortunate to be staying in Charles Street so found Toscano, which turned out to be a real discovery. The most superb Italian food and great, friendly service. So good we returned twice (two dinners, one lunch) and standard never slipped. Would love to return.

This is by far the best restaurant my boyfriend and I have been to! We went last night to celebrate our anniversary and had Roberto as our server. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and was always making sure everything was good. Food was absolutely incredible. We started with the arugula salad and the balsamic dressing on it was amazing. I got the bianco bolognese and my boyfriend got the chicken with prosciutto and mushrooms in a sauce- both exceeded our expectations. For dessert they were kind enough to bring out a blueberry tart dessert which was the best thing we have ever tasted. Will definitely be back!
