Chef Rich makes every single dish impeccable. For a seasonal dish you must try the pumpkin chicken risotto. It is absolutely to die for for appetizers. The stuffed mushrooms and stuffed scallops are also amazing. The meatballs melt in your mouth. I've eaten here several times and I've never had a bad meal.
Just excellent food but for the bread served. Hard to find such great Italian food these days. Will definitely return.
Great food. Nice, polite service although I wouldn't say outstanding. Great, varied, interesting menu. Good wine list. We had the lobster-filled mushroom appetizer. Wonderful. Main courses were the lobster ravioli and the shrimp al a Bourque. Both were outstanding. We had a nice window seat on the 2nd floor (the good news). There was a large family next us (probably 12-14 people, including kids). They had a good time, but a bit loud —- OK for an Italian restaurant, but I'd probably ask for a more secluded table next time. Overall, highly recommended. Buon appetito!
Truly a wonderful experience at Tresca! It began with calling the restaurant to ask if they have any vegan options (since I didn’t see any listed on the menu online but saw they were mentioned in google reviews) to then being transferred directly to Rich, the owner/chef who told me there are vegan options on the specials menu at the restaurant but that he could also make me other vegan dishes if I didn’t find one I liked. When I arrived with my family, there were no tables available but Rich made sure to get us seated within just 5 minutes. His hospitality and personal care and attention made the experience all the more memorable. The rest of the service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the vegan ravioli and my family had the lasagne bolognese, chicken parmigiana and stuffed meatballs to start with. I’ll definitely be sure to come by again next time I’m in Boston!

Excellent service. Food was delicious as well. The owner came to our table to greet us, and engaged with our 10 month old son. He brought us pasta and mashed potatoes for him, and to our surprise, there was no charge when the check came. Class act. We truly appreciate the attention and sincere consideration for our child. We will definitely return the next time we are in town.
Wife and I visited here for the first time during a quick trip to Boston and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Incredible atmosphere, the food was fantastic (we ordered the Bolognese and a chicken risotto that was served in a pumpkin), and the staff was friendly and accommodating; the owner/chef, Rich, even spent time walking around the room, meeting and conversing with guests.
Overall, an enjoyable experience, and will definitely plan to visit again!

Fantastic meal - start to finish. Had a window table and with the windows open and a beautiful evening it made for a wonderful experience. The chicken parm egg rolls were a great start and all 3 pasta dishes at our table were perfect.
We were in town and heard great things about the Italian food in Boston. After walking around the block looking at different menus we decided Tresca looked the best. And the best it was!
The seafood Alfredo was one of the best, if not the best Italian dishes we've had. The veal milanese was cooked perfectly and a very generous portion. We loved the food so much, we came back for a 2nd time. While our hometown of Chicago has some great Italian, none stand up to what we had at Tresca!
We also enjoyed the atmosphere, especially when the owner, Rich, came by our table both nights to greet us. It added to the experience of being authentic and genuine.
No matter what you order, you will not be disappointed!

We had reservations here and loved it. The food tasted really fresh. My husband loved the lobster stuffed mushroom appetizer. The spaghetti carbonara…. Mmmm it was so creamy and flavorful. Definitely so happy we chose this place. They kept my water glass full…. It’s the little things you notice that are so important. It was also a great atmosphere.

Tresca is one of our all-time favorite restaurants. Food and atmosphere are always outstanding. Love this restaurant!
Would not recommend the risotto, it's a rice pilaf...but the scallops were large and well prepared. We were never offered a 2nd cocktail and our water was never refilled. The focaccia bread they brought to the table, while free, was too hard to eat. Had several oversights by service staff that took away from the experience. They brought an anniversary dessert which was a nice surprise and our table by the window was perfect!
We LOVED it here. They were so accommodating as we had people with peanut and dairy allergies in our party. I had one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten - chicken with artichoke and mushroom. The owner came over and was extremely friendly and accommodating. The service was top notch - the waitress even filled our baby’s bottle for us. The bathroom downstairs had a cha gong table which was a plus, we will 100% be back!

Beautiful restaurant, and outstanding service. Cannot wait to go back, the bolognese nachos were a hit and can never go wrong with any of their pasta dishes. The hospitality was above and beyond.
