The food here is exceptional, the service is outstanding, and the prices are not bad at all! It is also a very fun vibe. I cannot recommend it here enough!

My order online was a total disaster, over 30 dollars for 4 appetizers that was not close to what is on the menu.
These were full of oil, no taste, yucca was supper very and what I taught was Bacalaito was simple water snd flower dough fried ☹️called them to talk yo a manager they put the phone down all I could hear was music😠😠 I don’t recommend them. Oh the plantains hard snd dry like rocks..,,just bad. Oh wait the garlic cream was so bitter that I couldn’t even have a spoon of it

I wanted to eat puerto rican food because I am from PR. Sadly not what I expected.
Beautiful place. When you walk in there was no welcome just how many and we were seated. The pińa colada was good. The waitress Alejandra she was great. The food was a deception. The conch salad was a very small portion and not cook right to sticky. The tostones obviously frozen not fresh at all.
Los bacalaitos not what you wolud eat in PR.
Alcapurias in triangle and burnt.
At least a littld round ones would have been nice.
The place is beautiful. The service not the best only for Alejandra. The food a total deception.
Upgrade your service. And change the food.
Or the chef. Price to high for so little.

Tasty with really good variety and a neighborhood gem to be found in Boston. Outdoor patio was super nice on a summer evening. Nice to have a taste of Puerto Rico.

Vejigantes is always our go to spot for dinner, but our last nights experience had to be the best! The food quality and service has never been a problem and is always great but our server Zeila made our night extra special. We started off with drinks and appetizers which are always on point. We ordered the sorullitos, bacalaitos and rellenos de papas to start which were all amazing and did fill us up a bit before our main course but didn’t stop us from ordering! For our main course we decided to get the churrasco volcan and the pechuga rellena with the arroz mamposteao! Delicious!! The Churrasco Volcan came out exactly as described on the menu and with the creole sauce it was just so flavorful- Definitely worth the price! Our server Zeila checked in on us multiple times asking how everything was and every time it was just perfect and we made sure to let her know. Although we were unable to finish our food due to all the amazing appetizers our server kindly asked if we would like it to be boxed up to go and we did! Always a great experience here at vejigantes and special thank you to our server Zeila for the amazing service!! 10/10

Vejigantes used to be our go-to spot for dinner, but after last night’s experience, it’s clear things have gone downhill both in service and food quality. We started off with drinks and appetizers, which were fine. But once the main courses came out, the disappointment began. The dishes looked plain, lacked any real presentation, and didn’t reflect the high prices they’re charging. One of the meals was missing an ingredient and tasted nothing like what was described on the menu. After a few bites, we flagged down our server Zaila, and explained the issue. She took the plate back to the kitchen but never offered to remake the dish or suggest an alternative. By the time she returned, everyone else had already finished eating. Then came the biggest insult she brought the bill and charged us for the dish that was returned. When I politely questioned it, she said because someone at the table initially said everything was “fine” when she first checked in, she wouldn’t remove the charge. There was no accountability or effort to make things right just a rushed attempt to get us out the door. This place used to be busy and vibrant on a Friday night now it’s nearly empty, and it’s easy to see why. My family and I won’t be coming back. The quality and service have become completely unacceptable.

This place used to be so good i went there yesterday paid almost 20$ for a meal and it was trash the beans tasted like they poured them out the can the chicken had no flavor and the salad was just lettuce and cucumber I didnt even finish the meal its sad that you can go to a bodega in Lawrence and get a meal for 10$ thats delicious I do not recommend if I could give zero stars in would sad day for boston another great place gone bad
