We were warmly greeted and were led to our table. The place was culturally decorated showing PR pride. The food was made as I expected and was savory and comforting in the way that I felt someone cared for the reputation of PR food. If you're in Boston, YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!

The food was amazing. The best rice and beans ever. We all had different dishes and everyone was amazed by how delicious they were. I can seriously say this is the best Puerto Rican restaurant I have ever been to. Will definitely be back.

We loved Vejigantes so much the first time we returned a 2nd time this evening (October 6th). Unfortunately it was terrible - waited way too long for server to just come over to take our order. The chuletas with sauteed onion was inedible. Pork chop was fried to the point of becoming leather and onion was basically raw. Mojitos were delicious and the pastele still reminded me of home. Please bring your A-game each time. Will give you one more try at some point in next couple...
