Pretty solid spot for Cantonese food! The portion sizes were huge and speedy service. They also serve complimentary tea which was nice. Empress salted chicken is a must try. We will come back!

Very disappointing experience. We ordered one porridge for takeaway during off-peak hours, yet the service was unprofessional and rude.
The staff member openly complained about our order to familiar customers in Cantonese, saying that only ordering one porridge for takeaway was “a waste of his time,” while giving us an unfriendly look. Unfortunately for him, I understand Cantonese, so I clearly knew what was being said.
We were then left waiting for about 10 minutes with no explanation, even though the food appeared to be ready. Only after I asked how much longer we needed to wait did he finally bring the porridge out from the kitchen.
As travelers visiting Boston, this kind of disrespectful and discriminatory behavior left a very bad impression. Food is not just about taste — basic courtesy and professionalism matter. I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

If possible I’d give 10 stars to the spectacularly delicious food from the restaurant! I live in New Jersey, but I went to the restaurant every time I visit Boston. The Cantonese food is way better than many ones I’ve tried in other cities. Good portion, good quality, and wonderful taste! My fav 🙏

We got empress chicken, lo mein, a claypot rice, and side of veggies. All delicious. Chicken was a little salty and did not come with white rice, which would have helped cut out the saltiness, but we had claypot rice to go with it instead. Owners gave us complimentary dessert (mung bean soup). Good place for a group dinner! Would come back for the chicken.

Had an excellent dinner here randomly. Erroneously thought they served hotpot as I misread “sizzling hot pot” to mean soup. We ordered crab Rangoon and beef with ginger/scallion. Both were excellent. The crab Rangoon had fresh ingredients, although a little greasy. The beef was tasty. Ginger was a unique taste. Would love to come again and try more dishes.

Service was quick and easy.

Nothing like eating in a simple great Cantonese tasty food restaurant. This is a real hidden gem in Bostons china town. Not a fancy looking place, just great food and service and excellent tea.

Came in with a stomach ache. Ordered spare ribs and bitter melon and left feeling happy and cleansed. Great food, large portions, free tea, prompt service, good for digestion.
