Go-to place on a night out or with guests. Staff is beyond hospitable and kind. Brings the old school corner bar vibes but with current drinks and food. Found this place after looking for tacos post living in TX and now it’s our favorite place to spend the night (or a boozy brunch). Start off with a classic marg and chips, then cruise through the bubbly mixed drinks. A Waking Up in Tijuana and churros cap off the night perfectly. Can’t say enough good things about this place and team.

Yellow Door Taqueria was absolutely incredible. Some of the best Mexican food I've had since living in Los Angeles. Truly inspired by SoCal Mexican food. I literally cannot wait to go back.

I'm baffled by the reviews of this restaurant as the food is marginal at best. Our visit started with watching our server make our margaritas which after being shaken with ice so were already diluted, were poured into a glass where he continued to force ice in until the contents overflowed. And then he spilled more of them as he brought them to our table. So we ended up with margarita flavored water.The guacamole was above average but my tacos were poor. The crispy pork belly was just hard tasteless chunks which I can't understand. I cook pork belly a lot and if there is a cut of meat that has tons of flavor no matter how you prepare it, this should be it. The carnitas taco was better but still not much flavor there.I hope those who think the food here is good have a chance to try really good Mexican food someday.

Serving cold food is a big no-no. I ordered delivery, driver was super fast & restaurant near me. No chance the food got cold that fast. Quality ingredients, decent birria broth but my birria beef tacos were salty. Step your game up!
