Disclaimer: read this review with a grain of salt. This was my favorite ice cream place when I was a kid and I have a lot of great memories here. including sitting at the window eating ice cream and saw my friend rear end a car. You might ask why he didn't break in time... Well he was head banging of course. (A form of distracted driving before cellphones existed) Soo ya a lot of great memories

We have been going to the Whistle Stop regularly for over a year now and we love it! The owner and staff are very friendly and the service is quick. Prices are comparable to other ice cream places on the cape, and you get great portions. Ice cream is delicious and my husband raves about the waffle cones year round (says they’re the best he’s ever had). They also have a fridge full of yummy looking ice cream cakes and treats for sale. We do wish that the hours were open a little...
