“I’m a huge bubble tea drinker and I love to try all different kinds of places. Let me tell you, Sweet Sip did not disappoint. While there I tried three drinks: the Assam black tea with honey boba, the rose milk tea (no topping), and the Vietnamese iced coffee. All three were delicious. The Assam was a great milk tea for anyone who likes it simple and nostalgic. Nice and sweet, but not too sweet. The rose milk tea was fragrant and delicious as well. In terms of the boba, they use honey boba, which is a nice choice; this gives them a good taste, which adds nicely to the teas. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also a nice surprise. If you’ve ever had the real deal form a Vietnamese restaurant, then you would know that the coffee flavor can be strong and extra bitter. For someone who loves coffee, but is a wimp with the bitterness, this iced coffee was just the right balance. It gets even better as your ice melts. Lastly. I tried some of their Hong Kong cakes, specifically the pandan flavored cake, and the mochi filling. It was heavenly… Crisp, sweet, and flavorful. I look forward to trying the other flavors. I don’t go to Boston too often, but I would definitely come back to try more drinks at Sweet Sip the next time I’m visiting.“

“Somehow my girlfriend and I can always find the stomach space for dessert here if we’re in the area. I would hesitate to suggest any dessert here even ones I haven’t tasted because the quality we’ve experienced so far have been so good.

Food: The shaved ice was the dessert that brought us in and the one we go back because the ice is so fluffy and the combination of sweetness and texture makes it so easy to finish. But everything else we’ve tried even dishes completely new to us were a serious treat.

Service: Staff is always welcoming and pleasant and really do a great job keeping the place clean especially with all the sticky foods.

Atmosphere: The shop really captures childish joy where you can just dig in and devour some sweets. The anime and the figures also give you endless things for your eyes to wonder off to.“

“love visiting the Jamaica Plain store! Since the weather has been getting warmer, I've gone a few times this month and have to say the staff is amazing. They are very warm, friendly, patient, and have great insight on all the flavors and products. Because of them I found my favorite Fomu flavor. It was Rose Lavender but I was introduced to Lemon Meringue, tart lemon ice cream (coconut base), with graham cracker crust and yummy vegan marshmallow! It was so tasty I went back a second (and third) time to buy a point. Don't miss this flavor and the wonderful staff (surprisingly calm and chill even under pandemic pressure). Can't wait to see what next month's flavors are!“

- Amazing chewy texture filled with pandan custard and coconut shreds
- Comes in pandan, ube, or durian flavor, and I will come back to try the rest!

“We've been ordering Fratelli's cakes for my children's birthdays for 4 years now and they always make it amazing!! We've done everything from Blues Clues, to Minnie Mouse, to Superkitties and everytime I'm shocked at how amazing they turn out. This year was my daughter's 4th bday and the look on her face when she saw her Minnie Mouse cake was absolutely worth its weight in gold. Thank you so much!“

We have a few different desserts and all were a decent std - although the mango itself (pictured) did not taste that great - the coconut base was good.“

“I was back visiting home since I moved to Sweden a few years back and my friend brought me by this place. Amazing! The cookies are big, but they are well balanced so they aren’t overly sweet. The outer layer has a good crunch, and they get softer and goer towards the center. The cosmic brownie cookie was a better version of a childhood classic. The brookie was a tasty take on the hybrid dessert.

The chocolate chip cookie, I have to say thank you because they really did have a good ratio of chocolate chip to cookie. Often times bakers will pack in chocolate chips/chunks to the point that it may as well be a chocolate bar and not a cookie. This one had a good ratio where the cookie and chocolate balanced each other nicely.

I only wish I had an opportunity to go back before flying back to Sweden.“

“I went back with a friend, reluctantly after bad experience with Emily the manager, and was greeted with the warmest, friendliest smile by an Divine an employee there! She showed me how to order, recommended some delicious cookies, and helped me sign up for the Crumble Cookie rewards! She even engaged with my child and my niece with special needs! They loved her so much they asked can they move there...lol! Thank you for an amazing experience Divine!“

“I’m so glad this place is finally open. I must say most of their cakes are very unique that you can’t find anywhere in Boston. I was told they make them freshly in house daily rotate different cakes everyday which is great. I tried the ube towel cake, hojicha latte and strawberry matcha latte. The Ube towel cake was fun to eat and has a strong ube flavor. Their drinks menu is so very unique and tasty. I would recommend to come here on a weekday because this place is super busy crazy on the weekend.“

She truly and genuinely cares about her client’s experiences with her classes as well as their satisfaction with her products. She will go out of her way to work with you in designing your dream cake, cupcakes, etc.

She puts incredible time and effort into designing her classes and products. I have been purchasing her baked goods for the past several years and recently have attended several of her classes. People come to her classes as strangers and leave as friends - literally. The environment is always so welcoming and fun. If you’re looking for a fun activity for girls’ night, date night, or even solo, I recommend checking out her classes. And if you’re in search of ordering dessert for any type of event, this is the place to go.“

“Mango coconut smoothie, my basic and top choice! Very young friendly staff. IF you order take out, make sure you tell them to make you're order. I was told by a staff they only make the order once the customer arrives in person so you have to wait longer in the store.“

“I love the people that work here they are so nice I love there drink I got a strawberry banana smoothie with boba it was amazing I have never had this good of a drink before my mom had got the Vietnamese ice coffee with mocha it was amazing I’m definitely coming back“

“Insomnia Cookies is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving something sweet late at night. The cookies are usually warm, soft in the middle, and super satisfying — especially the classics like Chocolate Chunk and Snickerdoodle. When they’re fresh out of the oven, they really hit the spot.

That said, the experience can be a little inconsistent. During busy hours, wait times get long, and delivery can sometimes show up colder than expected. Prices are on the higher side as well, especially if you’re ordering multiple items or adding ice cream.

Overall, though, it’s a fun late-night treat with a great variety of flavors, and the convenience is hard to beat. When they’re warm and fresh, they’re absolutely worth it.“
