The Woodshed is a cozy and lively spot that has been a local favorite for years. This classic dive bar offers a real Cape Cod experience with live music 7 nights a week during the summer, attracting both locals and tourists. Rustic and dark inside (with outdoor seating available), it’s literally an old shed that can get hot, cramped, and loud on busy nights. Despite not serving food, it’s known for its cheap drinks, decent beer prices for Cape Cod, and friendly bartenders. Open primarily on Fridays and Saturdays, it’s a cash-only place with a cover charge when bands play. The Woodshed doesn’t do foo-foo drinks—just enjoy what they have, listen to good music, and maybe even dance. It’s the definition of a dive bar, so keep that in mind if you prefer a more sophisticated experience.
