Birds of Paradise Reviews
I miss living within walking distance
Drinks were very unique and bartender was extremely friendly and helpful. Went in right after it opened and was able to get a spot at the bar without a reservation. The atmosphere is really cool and has a travel theme
One of the best cocktail bars I’ve been to in Boston.
Walked in on a Saturday evening around 8PM without a reservation. We were able to snag a table without a wait, but the place filled up pretty fast. Just like some of the best cocktail bars in the city, this spot knows how to weave savory notes into their drinks without overwhelming them. Almost everything we tried was excellent. Refined, inventive, and layered (except for Bangkok to Mumbai).

Birds of Paradise is a hidden gem with a unique concept of fusing flavors from different destinations into their expertly crafted cocktails. The beautifully presented drinks boast unexpected and creative flavor combinations that are sure to impress. The atmosphere is cool and has a travel theme, adding to its charm. The bar is friendly and helpful, with knowledgeable bartenders who are eager to assist guests in finding the perfect drink. While the menu is small, it features inventive and playful food options, including a solid lemongrass chicken dumplings that are nicely perfumed with lemongrass. The hand rolls are a highlight, though portions can be small, making it best suited for drinks and small bites. Some drinks, like Kingston to Milan, are refined and layered with surprising flavor notes, while others like Bangkok to Mumbai can be overly sweet and one-dimensional. Overall, Birds of Paradise is a great place to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails in a lively setting, making it ideal for small groups or a night out. Despite its vibrant name, some guests feel the atmosphere could be more lively to match the colorful concept, but the experience remains memorable for its creative drinks and welcoming vibe.
