Tried this for the first time when they came to a local 5K run and have been thinking about it ever since. Got the Pura Vida and it has acai, granola, strawberry, blueberries and honey. This hits the spot as it's not very sweet but just the perfect amount of sweetness where you can still taste slight tartness in the strawberries. Their base is not sweet like many other places. Tastes very light and feels healthy even after eating the whole bowl. The staff were very friendly, polite and didn't rush you to order. Inside has a few seatings and was very clean.

I love playa bowl. I was just in Florida and turned at least 100 people on to Playa. Every single time the food is top notch and the service comes with a smile it's well worth the money in my worldParking: I pulled up right to the door, but most of the time I just walk from my house, I am less than 2 miles away

Awesome bowls! Mr son loves them and I do too. Very healthy and generous portions. Love that you can pre order online

The employees need to be servsafe certified or need retraining! The cross contamination in this place is terrible. I ordered online for delivery for myself and a friend. Both of our orders had toppings that we didn’t ask for. There were blueberries and pineapple in both of ours, and my friend is allergic to pineapple. Luckily she noticed them before she took a bite.

Wanted to love them but tired of paying $15 for a bowl just to get an order messed up. The people that work there are also very rude. They wouldn't answer the phone when i tried to report this after receiving my order that was not right. I've tried calling since to speak to someone as well as emailing, and no one responds. Disappointing. Staff needs to be trained to read what the order is. As a customer, I don't ask for much other than to pay for what I order.
UPDATE: Although DoorDash was extremely unhelpful, the workers at Playa Bowl agreed to accommodate a change in my order as long as I picked it up. Unfortunately my previous order was the last of the mango base, which they are discontinuing, so I got the recommended açaí base instead. Wasn't a fan of the açaí, it has an after taste that just didn't appeal to me but fully appreciate the employees willingness to replace my previous order with a new one. Usually have great experiences with playa bowl but my most recent order was terrible. It arrived melted for the first time and was extremely soupy. The mango base had no flavor other than the taste of ice almost as if it were previously frozen and they reused it. The granola, which is usually deliciously crunchy and my favorite part, was soggy and the texture of oatmeal. And the fruit was hard and sour. There was no way to salvage this. Wish I could upload a video to give a full picture of what I received but the photo will have to do. Not sure if I got a bad bowl because I ordered right when they opened but it was terrible enough for me to take a serious break from Playa.

Acai bowls here are amazing! Great treat that is both delicious and healthy. Only downside is the line can get long and there's limited seating.
