Best ice cream around , is it apple pie ice cream time yet ?
Yesterday l was nostalgic for White Mountain but was skeptical about this new shop, especially all the reviews saying the ice cream is not as good (WM’s Mexican Chocolate was my favorite and I’m forever regretful I didn’t get a final scoop in time before they closed).
I was served by a sweet young man named Walter (sorry if I misspell) who was very welcoming and patient while I tasted the flavors.

Based on the reviews, New City Microcreamery @ White Mountain is a fantastic ice cream place with friendly and helpful staff. The servers are pleasant, enthusiastic, and take amazing care with allergies to prevent cross contamination. While there is no chocolate chip ice cream, the chocolate brownie fudge and Boston cream pie were delicious. Other standout flavors include the Pineapple upside down cake, which is not too sweet with delicious bites of cake and sweet juicy pineapple, and the Tres Leches, which was great. The banana ice cream topped with fudge sauce is also a winner. Customers must try the tiramisu Cookie Monster and the Mexican chocolate. The staff lets customers taste many flavors. Though a bit on the expensive side, it is highly recommended.
