“Came here around 1pm on a Saturday. 6 window seats available in total. Were sold out of all but one donut which was sad but understandable. Was still a phenomenal donut with a pillowy inside that was packed with flavor. I’m pretty sure we got a lemon coconut brioche one. Also ordered a hot chai and latte, both of which were amazing in flavor as well. Note that certain drinks you add sugar to yourself which makes it very customizable to each person’s liking. First off: the flavors are amazing. They are both well thought of combinations and absolutely high quality products. This is artisan level ice cream. It is very dense and rich. It kind of reminds me of Italian gelato in a way. I loved the cones as well. You can order a 1, 2, or 3 scoop in a cone or cup. Or cone kind of looking thing in a cup.

The staff here was super nice and friendly. Thank you for your professionalism! I love the atmosphere of the store and it was very modern, clean, and intriguing. I wanted a cone as soon as I walked in.

Price wise, be prepared for expensive ice cream. In my opinion it was worth the purchase for how exceptionally better it was than the vast majority of places I’ve tried around town.

“It was really cute shop and I liked the ice cream. I walked down to the Kennedy Greenway and took in the skyline views with it. Great night!

I took off one star cause the ice cream is close to being perfect, but not quite. The cookie dough ice cream just simply didn’t have enough cookie dough bites in it. We all know those are the best part so what are we skimping for!

The cake batter ice cream had too many sprinkles for my taste. It’s already a very sweet flavor so it would be nice to have the option to add sprinkles instead.

On the other hand, the fruit and sorbet style flavors were perfection!

Last point, the employees all seemed like they hated their lives here. I respect that ofc cause I’ve worked many jobs that I hate, but it gave me the sense something could be done behind the scenes to make it a better work environment.

I don’t mean to sound too harsh cause clearly this place is great! But that’s my two cents, keep going!“

“Toscanini's has been my favorite ice cream spot for over 20 years. Even as I've moved around and lived in other cities, I always make a point to visit whenever I'm back in the Boston area. But a recent experience cemented my loyalty for life.

On Presidents' Day, our family showed up around 5 pm, not realizing the shop was closed for the holiday. When we couldn't open the door, we started knocking, thinking it was just stuck. Gus, the owner, came out and let us know they were closed for the day, but then asked us what we were looking for. We told him we were hoping to grab a pint, and he told us to wait just a moment. A few minutes later, he came back with a big bag full of different pints and let us walk away with two of them, suggesting we could come back and pay another day when they were actually open (or perhaps he didn't care!). We came back and paid two weeks later.

We stopped by just in passing, on our way to visit a university — and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be!

The ice cream was delicious, with just the right balance of flavor — not overly sweet like many others. It was refreshing and satisfying.

What truly made the experience special was Mónica’s service. She was empathetic, kind, and patient — qualities that are becoming rare these days and that we deeply appreciated.

“I have been hooked on Richie's Italian Ice. 10oz..with these great flavors cherry, watermelon, strawberry, lemon lime, raspberry, orange cream, root beer. Sour apple.. Etc. I found them at Raynham Market Basket 4 for $5. Only trouble the flavor are limited. So I run to other all market basket stores around to find different flavors.. the Product is Super hit this season and I bet it will go fast this summer.. “Kyo Matcha is a newly opened Matcha and other flavor dessert spot located near the HMart of Brookline.

I came here during the grand opening and other subsequent times, and the lines were out the door. There is outdoor seating, but it felt a little congested with how the line moved. Inside there is a few photo op areas but it's mainly indoor seating.

The service was fast and efficient, and the food came out quickly. The staff were understanding to any allergies and were accommodating with replacements on the menu.

The food was of decent quality, but could've been better. I tried the Matcha Crepe Layer Cake, the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Cap Cake, and Parfait with Matcha Ice Cream.

The Matcha Crepe Layer Cake was really good, very light and fluffy with a soft texture. The Brown Sugar Milk Cap cake was a little on the heavier side, with the sweetness of the boba being a bit overwhelming for me, but still enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the Matcha Parfait, however I saw in photos that there should be two layers of ice cream, one on the bottom and one on top. When I received mine, there was barely any on the bottom, instead it was packed with the toppings. This didn't really bother me but it did make it only toppings once I finished the layer of Matcha ice cream on top.

The prices here are a bit on the expensive side for desserts, but comparable to other matcha dessert places.“
