“A cute little neighborhood shop in West Roxbury. I came here on a weekend afternoon and the place was full of people inside and out enjoying a cup of gelato. You can learn the difference between ice cream and gelato from their wall decor while you decide on what flavor to get. I had high hopes for this gelato and it didn't disappoint. I got pistachio and creme brulee and definitely preferred the pistachio more. It had a light flavor that was creamy, but not overpowering. The gelato had a good texture to it and I would love to go back to try out the other flavors.“

Highly recommend the Patriot Parfait: A tower of Strawberry, and Vanilla ice cream with strawberry and blueberry sauce, with whipped cream and a cherry on top. They also have tasty reuben sandwiches. “I was recently shopping at Crumbl Cookie at the Dedham Plaza. My wife and I were passing on by when she asked me to look online about it while I was waiting for her while she went into Stsr Market. So I checked out what Crumbl Cookie was all about and decided when she came out that we would go over there and check it out. Upon entering I was quite shocked about how big the baking facilities were. But not to impressed with the amount of space for customers to be waiting at. Their were no chairs to sit while waiting for your order or to even sit down to eat and enjoy a cookie. But needless to say maybe it's something they can probably work on in futureAnyway the facilities were very clean and the ordering was painless. I ordered a Banana Nut bread cookie, while I also ordered a Snickdoodle cookie, we also ordered a waffle cookie which came with a side of syrup, and last but not least I wish that I could remember the cookie that we ordered but I can't remember. When we got home after eating dinner we got into the cookies and let me tell you that this was the best Snickerdoodle cookie that I've ever had. It was on the sweet side but it didn't deter me from eating it all and wishing that I had another one. MY wife and my mother in-law both enjoyed their cookies as well. All in all we would highly recommend that people give the Crumbl a chance to try out some delicious cookies and also from what I understand is that they change their menu every week with different varieties of cookies so never the same dull menu. “I have such fond memories coming here throughout the years. I was originally introduced to this location a few years ago by the kids I babysat, since they lived in Waltham and the Belmont Center location was closer than the Newtonville one. We kept going back and it was delicious every time! My go to flavor is the hydrox cookies and cream. It won't let you down! The staff is mainly juniors and seniors in high school and they're so nice to guests and are hustling on the job (and supporting eachother on their college adventures which you love to see). There's not many seats inside but that was never a problem for us. Besides, it's nicely located in Belmont Center so you can also walk around a bit, or sit outside if you'd like. :)“

“They were closing for season 11/26; so had to stop in for a graham central station cone. Excellent flavor . Ordered small cone and was a good size double scoop. Nice young personable girl serving and doing excellent job as line employee and consistent business flow of customers. Very reasonable price for ice cream compared to other ice cream spots I visit. “The perfect ending to the perfect wedding. We had Frosty come towards the end of my son's wedding reception as a surprise to everyone. After a fun night of eating, drinking and dancing it was the perfect ending. What fun so many guests posted pictures having an ice cream. The attendant was fun and helpful and moved quickly. “A friend brought over a pint each of walnut and chocolate chip gelato for dessert the other night, and I was blown away. Both were so creamy and flavorful, without tasting too sweet.I then found out all their gelatos are lactose free, so no upset stomach after eating a bunch. “If you like ice cream, then you must try Abbott's Frozen Custard because it's like ice cream on steriods. Creamier, smoother and it's apparently made fresh every single day on-site (you can watch the fresh custard coming out of their machine over the counter if you time your visit right!). There are a fair amount of storefronts in Needham center that have changed over the past decade but there's a reason why Abbott's has remained. Highly recommend getting one of the pies for a special occasion. I love the PB cup pie. Always a nice change of pace for thanksgiving or when bringing a dessert to a party. Abbott’s does it right!“

“Valentine's Day surprise made my week!! I love sweets, especially cannolis, so when my boyfriend gave me this (with a beautiful bouquet of lilies) I almost screamed with joy! I have been on a mission to try all the bakeries in the vicinity of Boston, so you could call me a bakery expert. Gaetano's blew my socks off! Not only was the shell of the cannoli nice and crisp, but the cream was delicious. I really loved the cookies as well, which surprised me! “After three years of having traipsed by this place, looking over and thinking 'Someday...' I finally decided that tonight was it. I was...in a /mood,/ to put it succinctly. Dagnabbit, I wanted some ice cream.So I stepped on into the brightly lit but welcoming little shop. It was clean, pristine, and calm--but I could practically feel the exuberant energy of its patrons and staff that it would have on any given summer afternoon, even on this quiet evening. I made my way over to view the selection, and...while I had expected there to be a fantastic selection of unique flavors...I was ill-prepared for the choices I'd have to make. My eyes roved over such a brilliant array of colors and provocative flavors, that my attention was like trying to walk a pack of exceptionally energetic puppies. Any moment I thought I had made a decision, one of those puppies would leap at another label or swirl or splash of rainbow, yipping and pulling. All of the disappointments and problems in my life slipped away into the ether as the most pressing thing in the world at the moment was... 'WHICH ONE?!' I was going to commit to a pint, no matter what--no question. Sure, I could have asked for some samples, but I didn't want to pester the pleasant woman keeping shop... She was already engaged in friendly banter with a couple of other patrons, and I was struggling as it was. I have a penchant for eating anything that's aggressively blue, and the variety of flavors available in that color had me holding my breath as my eyebrows tried to unite with my hairline. I finally wrangled my internal puppy thoughts--resisting my every urge to just shout 'BLUE!'--and picked one: Caramel cheesecake.I scurried home, dealt with some unpleasant things... But finally I grabbed a spoon and dug in--...there are some things in this world that bring such unexpected pleasure and joy that it elicits reactions that seem contrary and disproportionate to the thing being experienced. Such was the case with this ice cream. It was so good, I had to beg pardon for my vernacular and volume. So smooth, so creamy, but with tantalizingly soft chews of chunks of cheesecake and subtle crunches. It was sweetness like a euphoria. I had meant only to have a little taste so I could satisfy my curiosity and save it for later...but the spoon seemed to take on a mind of its own. M'lad witnessed my exultation, and I almost reluctantly passed him the spoon. Usually, we can calmly and politely share food--but we were reduced to a base, child-like state, and got grabby-snatchy with just the one spoon. Something about this must have alarmed my rational side, and after both of us saying 'Last one, for realsies--' for the fifth or sixth time, I managed to slap the top back on to save what was left for later...but it was difficult.Suffice to say, next time I will allow myself to dawdle a bit in the shop and ask for samples, although I sincerely doubt that there is any wrong choice.
