“YUM YUM YUM!This place had great customer service. I needed help with the menu, and everyone was willing to help. I had a peanut butter cookie, my son had m and m cookie, and my husband had the pre built cookie sandwich, and it was super filling!! I'm glad we didn't all get the sandwich since it was so big. Super delicious, definitely come here!“

“I recently checked out Van Leeuwen and it was such a delightful experience! Their homemade ice creams are incredibly creamy, with fun flavors. I got honeycomb and brown sugar cookie dough and it was very yummy. The staff are super friendly and the interior is great for taking pictures, with bright colors and decor. Highly recommended.“

“Since they opened in the early 1980s (could any ice cream be better than Steve's I wondered back then?), they have been hands downs serving the creamiest and tastiest ice cream in the Boston area. My go-to flavors are any of the ones with hazelnut (nocciola & gianduja -- which either they are now calling nutella or they have added yet another hazelnut flavor -- and all of their chocolates, especially Belgian chocolate, the occasional orange-chocolate, and Mexican chocolate). There's nothing like that to be had like these in most of the rest of the local ice cream shops. If only I could get there more often I would branch out more 'cause there are still plenty of enticing flavors I haven't tried yet. It's a pricey treat, especially since I can recall 1980s ice cream prices! But if I want to treat myself, this is the spot. I gave them one star off for service because the folks behind the counter just aren't as cheerful and friendly as a generation ago. A sign or our times perhaps.“

“I would definitely recommend a visit here. I tried creamy yummy sugar free ice cream that was not icy or taste like chemicals. I also had a great normal sugar but super sweet blackberry ice cream. I wish I has a little more blackberry flavor. I also had a scoop of ginger ice cream which was unfortunately a little icy and the ginger flavor was a touch muted, but still tasty. Staff let me sample each flavor and I got a cute little bowl so I could walk and eat it on the nice hot July4th day. The atmosphere- it is a place you grab and go and it is small, a narrow shop you might miss if driving a bit too fast. They have pints for take out and are willing to make you one in house if they don't have the flavor in the freezer. For about $8 a nice place to stop in. Definitely worth it.“

“They have issues at times keeping their supply thick enough, it's expensive like everything else, and their reliance on teens comes with some of the expected issues (they all seem largely to be great, though.)
Still, we keep coming back regardless because they are just that damn good!
PS: If you grew up so far south that Mexico just feels like another state and Boston actually feels like another country, try their new mango drink.“

“Went to duck donuts in walpole for the first time, I will absolutely be coming back the staff were amazing!! I have to give a special shout out to the donut maker who made my daughter’s day with a free little duck! Donuts were so warm and yummy. These staff deserve all the tips! “I frequently visit Wally's because of my deep love of ice cream. I typically enjoy the Purple Cow flavor in a sundae. But when Fall hits, my kryptonite is PUMPKIN OREO. “JP Licks on Centre Street is the quintessential local ice cream shop that I can’t get enough of. But let’s talk about the ice cream—it truly speaks for itself. With an incredible variety of flavors, each scoop is rich, smooth, and packed with taste. You can genuinely taste the quality in every bite. While the prices reflect this quality, they’re a bit steep, which is my only downside. When I was an EMT, I used to treat myself more often, but now I find myself going less frequently, not because I don’t want to, but because it’s not exactly cheap.

“Life is hard. ice cream helps. Came to Gracie’s for dessert while in town visiting friends. Great little spot with unique flavors. Loved the strawberry Swiss roll bursting with fresh berries and the honey cornbread. All the great flavors of summer wrapped in a creamy cool treat! Loved it!“
