We had the cochin white fish, fried fish, and salmon pkaila. We also had the pickles, two great cocktails, and the napoleonka. Everything was unbelievably delicious. They have fabulous flavors and creativity and we loved how all of the dishes had explanations and connections to Jewish tradition. Our service was also excellent! “Decided to check this place out after grabbing some things at Christina’s Spices. Very pleasantly surprised. This may be the best ice cream I have ever had! I asked to sample the lavender latte and the ube (second one at the very nice worker’s recommendation.) Both were delicious and perfectly balanced. The flavors really came through, yet not overly sweet. It makes sense that they also own a spice business. I ended up getting both because they were just that good! Excited to return.“

The fig was real. The goat cheese was real. It just was so natural tasting. We also really enjoyed talking with the “man behind the counter.” He said he was a cousin of the owner. He was super knowledgeable and informed us about the ice cream workshops and about how people from near and far came for the nut free ice cream options. I would really like the decor and the interior of the store to match the richness and decadence of the ice cream itself. The look of the store does not quite match the awesomeness of the ice cream. “The portion size alone was massive for the price making it almost too much for me to finish in one go. Every bite was flavorful, the fruit was fresh the balance of flavors was just right for a wonderful experience. Meticulously crafted and put together for a finish a Michelin chef would approve of easily this was hands down the best acai bowl I've had in a very long time. My one regret is that I'm not local, I'll certainly be thinking of Algeria Bowls on my way home.“

“Yesterday I was in to get a birthday cake and was inspired by an act of kindness. A young woman with some cognitive disabilities came in asking some unusual questions. The owner, who was working the shop by himself at the time, was so patient with her and kind. He treated her with respect and even gave her a free drink. These sorts of moments need to be recognized!“

First off: the flavors are amazing. They are both well thought of combinations and absolutely high quality products. This is artisan level ice cream. It is very dense and rich. It kind of reminds me of Italian gelato in a way. I loved the cones as well. You can order a 1, 2, or 3 scoop in a cone or cup. Or cone kind of looking thing in a cup.

The staff here was super nice and friendly. Thank you for your professionalism! I love the atmosphere of the store and it was very modern, clean, and intriguing. I wanted a cone as soon as I walked in.

Price wise, be prepared for expensive ice cream. In my opinion it was worth the purchase for how exceptionally better it was than the vast majority of places I’ve tried around town.

The shop itself is fairly bare-bones on the interior, but there’s a decent amount of seating inside and outside. There was no line when we went, but I imagine it is much busier during the school year. Excellent ice cream, but it lacks the accouterments of a a fun New England summer ice cream spot. I wish it had more personality.“

They are very warm, friendly, patient, and have great insight on all the flavors and products. Because of them I found my favorite Fomu flavor. It was Rose Lavender but I was introduced to Lemon Meringue, tart lemon ice cream (coconut base), with graham cracker crust and yummy vegan marshmallow! It was so tasty I went back a second (and third) time to buy a point. Don't miss this flavor and the wonderful staff (surprisingly calm and chill even under pandemic pressure).
