They had a bunch of different, unique favors, and the guy working there was super helpful in letting us try out a bunch of different flavors and then telling us his favorites.

I ended up with the honeycomb, some kind of coffee flavor (I forget the name) and the apple cinnamon one. All three flavors were excellent, but I think the honeycomb was the best.

“My bowl comes out right every time. I love the açaí and the seven free toppings 🤩🤩. I believe this is a small, family owned business: they are always attentive to your order, they will even call you to confirm if you want a specific topping or not! It’s apparent that they work hard and they care about their customers. Great, consistent customer service and bowls. I am so happy they exist.“

“Yesterday I was in to get a birthday cake and was inspired by an act of kindness. A young woman with some cognitive disabilities came in asking some unusual questions. The owner, who was working the shop by himself at the time, was so patient with her and kind. He treated her with respect and even gave her a free drink. “Toscanini's has been my favorite ice cream spot for over 20 years. Even as I've moved around and lived in other cities, I always make a point to visit whenever I'm back in the Boston area. But a recent experience cemented my loyalty for life.

On Presidents' Day, our family showed up around 5 pm, not realizing the shop was closed for the holiday. When we couldn't open the door, we started knocking, thinking it was just stuck. Gus, the owner, came out and let us know they were closed for the day, but then asked us what we were looking for. We told him we were hoping to grab a pint, and he told us to wait just a moment. A few minutes later, he came back with a big bag full of different pints and let us walk away with two of them, suggesting we could come back and pay another day when they were actually open (or perhaps he didn't care!). We came back and paid two weeks later.
