“It did take quite some time to get my order, but that was on a Saturday afternoon. Lots of people around me had their orders incorrect, but I was one of the lucky ones I guess. Food itself was great when it arrived, my partner was especially impressed with their cheese stuffed mushroom burger.“
“We had a very nice lunch here and all of the staff was incredibly friendly and cheerful and engaging. It was a pleasure. Our server was particularly kind and wanted to be sure we had a nice experience - his name is Akenzua (Kenzie). Kudos to everyone there.“

“Lazy Bear is the single greatest thing to happen to ice cream. I’ve made a hobby out of enjoying different local ice cream places in my travels and I can say that Lazy Bear is the best ice cream you’ll have. I personally suggest the entire menu!
Additionally, Nana Peach is a national treasure for creating hot fudge that good. Protect her at all costs.“

“The frozen yogurt is GREAT but the owner, Ali, is one of a kind and is so funny, kind and personable, I would go there just to see him, alone!“

“The guy who runs it is super nice and positive and always has the best ice cream. There is so much variety and he is always well stocked. I love getting ice cream here! The essence that the flavors of the ice cream intermingling on my tongue brings everyone great satisfaction. Highly recommend!“

“Since they opened in the early 1980s (could any ice cream be better than Steve's I wondered back then?), they have been hands downs serving the creamiest and tastiest ice cream in the Boston area. My go-to flavors are any of the ones with hazelnut (nocciola & gianduja -- which either they are now calling nutella or they have added yet another hazelnut flavor -- and all of their chocolates, especially Belgian chocolate, the occasional orange-chocolate, and Mexican chocolate). There's nothing like that to be had like these in most of the rest of the local ice cream shops. If only I could get there more often I would branch out more 'cause there are still plenty of enticing flavors I haven't tried yet. It's a pricey treat, especially since I can recall 1980s ice cream prices! But if I want to treat myself, this is the spot. I gave them one star off for service because the folks behind the counter just aren't as cheerful and friendly as a generation ago. A sign or our times perhaps.“

“I recently checked out Van Leeuwen and it was such a delightful experience! Their homemade ice creams are incredibly creamy, with fun flavors. I got honeycomb and brown sugar cookie dough and it was very yummy. The staff are super friendly and the interior is great for taking pictures, with bright colors and decor. Highly recommended.“
