Best noodles! And so many gluten free options.
I have literally been dining at this place at least once per week for the past 3 months. I have been always satisfied with their food and staffs, everything went great and I nearly tried everything on their menu. Until today, I was paying for my meal, then I realized this old male chef kept standing behind me. told him I was about to type my security code since I did not bring my wallet so I have to type my credit card info. I asked him to stop standing behind me and keep some distance since after I turned around, I saw he was directly looking at the screen. What he said was a shock. He told me to just hide it from him and covered the screen with my hand. I was not so sure but I heard him cursing me in Cantonese afterward cause I was speaking mandarin to him. I really did run out of word for such a rude and annoying service provider that I have never met in my whole life. If you can let this happen ever again, I would better suggest you to close this shop. Seriously. I am making g this stamens that I never fabricate a single piece of what happened today. So you need some more work to do definitely to stop losing regular customers.
It’s good, although not amazing. The broth is OK.
I have found little meat pieces in my vegetarian fried rice noodles. A very unpleasant experience.
A go-to spot if you're looking for a good, authentic, noodle soup with the right amount of spiciness and flavor! The atmosphere as you walk into the restaurant should be a good indicator to the quality of the food, and this place aces that as well.
This food is so good it made me swoon like a cartoon character after the first bite. I can't put my finger on how to describe the taste of the gravy noodles, my go-to, but it's just impeccable. Add to this the best small-shop atmosphere and it's just a total home run. Go here; six stars.
Parking: Street parking
Wheelchair accessibility: Front door is up a step, close quarters; just an outdated building
Excellent Yunnan rice noodle restaurant in Brighton. The rice noodle dishes all come with lots of toppings, but you can always add more. Braised beef rice noodle soup has a rich, flavorful broth, but not heavy.Rice noodles with gravy has cubed stewed meat sauce, incredibly flavorful. Pickled veggies had a salty and tangy flavor, very refreshing.Cold dishes were also well seasoned with traditional Yunnan spices. The owner also opened Yunnan Kitchen in Back Bay, another excellent restaurant.
The noodles here are so delicious, everything is fresh and also fast. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a cozy , very clean space. Parking behind the building in a municipal lot. Everything we got was outstanding. Can't wait to go back, I'm dreaming of those noodles.
Beef noodle soup was very good . Fresh, delicious noodles, well seasoned and tender beef, fresh bok choy and spring onion. Pretty standard no frilled service. Large portion.
ill-mannered staff. who don't know how to behave. I went in for an order, there are a lot of orders on the table, they tell me that you yourself find your order and take it. Completely insolent
Restaurantji Recommends
Prices are high compared with the quality and quantity. Inside the restaurant isn't neat and is unsanitary.
the vegetarian noodle soup here is one of the best noodle soups I've ever had. I'm not even vegetarian and I crave it regularly.
Came in a few weeks back for an early dinner with a friend. Didn’t have any experience with this type of cuisine and the server was very helpful. The portions were large and they were very good!Other thoughts: server could have been a little more attentive, very weird playlist of all types of music, soooo many pickup orders (although indicated it was a popular spot). I will definitely be back!
Delicious and Spicy! Worth a try.Love the sign on the door, just shows how authentic it is.
A total gem in Brighton as I had not had Yunnan cuisine before. This is definitely worth a visit and it is especially cool that it is woman and immigrant owned. Had the Crossing the Bridge and the Jalapeño noodle -- both excellent, and great heat!
