Had exceptional service last night. When the hostess handed my takeout bag to me unfortunately the cap on our takeout drink came loose and soaked through the whole order, bottom fell out of the bag and it landed on the floor! The staff was very kind, fired a new order for us in 5 minutes, and the manager Michael gave us a voucher for a free meal. We really appreciated the exceptional service.
A classic establishment that we've frequented many times (here in Brookline, as well as back home in the DMV), that has never failed us with consistency and flavor (I can only wish MA had happy hour the way Virginia/Maryland do for the drinks ofc!) Great service, great food, great prices. We showed up on a Sunday night and had a 40 minute wait. Luckily there was a cafe open until 10:00 across the street, so we waited there. They had lots of tables and small sweets. Bartaco is one of my favorite places to go when friends are in town.
