When I tell you that these are the best French pastries I’ve ever had outside of Paris, I’m being dead serious. The selection is small but very well made each time (though be sure to get there early as things sell out fast!) and the owner is an absolute delight! Cannot recommend enough!!!
This cafe is the closest cafe that I could get to a really authentically tasting French pastry in Boston. The interior and design are minimal and neat, nothing too fancy. But I don't care. The croissant tasted excellent and Americano was great too. Talked to the wonderful owner at length. It becomes quite clear that she cares a lot about this cafe and the quality of her products. They import ingredients directly from France and I could taste it. Maybe I sound too exaggerating...
We stopped by this bakery today and were really impressed. While the selection isn't huge, everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We sampled eclairs, three types of fruit pies, and an apricot pastry. Honestly, I couldn't pick a favourite they were all pretty good. It reminded my favourite Paul bakery from when we lived in London. Definitely planning to return.
