“I meant to leave a review a while back. They have some great food always made fresh to go. I placed a order one day and was picking it up as they closed. They forgot my chicken teriyaki. Only one person was there cleaning up looked like they were ready to go. I told them they forgot my chicken teriyaki. He said I never ordered. But I did because my order never changes. He took the initiative to make it for me, not only that he gave me some house rice with it..“

“Very welcoming. I got there about an hour before closing so I picked my food quickly. I had the Creamy Tum Yum and added a little chili oil to it for some spice. It is a great dish for someone who wants flavor with little to no heat. There was plenty of pork and two shrimp tails. I also had the Thai Tea which from the picture in the menu I was worried was a premade mix. Instead it came out fresh and required me to swirl it around to blend the cream. Perfect flavor and temperature. Not overly sweet like some places make it.
The atmosphere was laid back with some cool art work on the walls. Definitely gave a college town feel. The bathroom could use some work. It wasn't scary. It was clean and well stocked but it is definitely on the back burner when it comes to decorating.
I'm surprised they don't have merchandise. Their logo would be a cool patch on a hat. Seems like most restaurants are doing this now and I'm here for it. Better than buying shot glasses.
Anyways, check the place out for some good hot pots, ramen, etc. when in the area.“

“The chili is amazing. I can’t ever make it home without digging in on the way. Getting soup and chicken from the same place is genius, a full meal that tastes like it came from your own kitchen.“

“Tried the chicken gyro at Opa Greek Gyro and really enjoyed it! The meat was flavorful and tender, and everything tasted fresh. Portion size was just right, and the pita was soft and warm. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving a good gyro. Will be coming back to try more from the menu!“

“The Halloumi Cheese Pita and/or Plates with Charred Eggplant and Garlic Skordalia spreads are my favorites. I especially love the Charred Eggplant spread as it’s extremely tasty and unique. I don’t recommend getting meat as the protein as it’s usually pretty dry.
The Zucchini Chips are also my go-to side dish.
The Loukomades (Greek donuts) are good, but nothing special.
It’s a bit hard to navigate in the Newbury location when it’s crowded as it’s so small“

“Had a wonderful time, especially thanks to the tour guide(s) at 4 pm. The main leader, “Sarah,” definitely made the experience worthwhile. There was a giant group of young kids that weren’t paying much attention (as young kids do-not a complaint) yet we were able to learn and enjoy the amazing museum and experiences nonetheless. They were very accommodating, humorous, and well equipped to handle large groups of people while keeping their attention. We liked the experience and would go back.“

“Casual Szechuan noodle bar that offers comforting flavors.
Szechuan cuisine has always been popular, but the competition in Allston has really been heating up lately. While MH holds the popularity crown by a wide margin, spots like Little Tao often get overshadowed. I've dropped by Little Tao a few times for lunch, and for a place that proudly advertises zero MSG, the flavors were bold.
Little Tao’s signature dishes are undoubtedly their Szechuan noodles, like the Chengdu noodles and Twice Cooked Pork noodles. Each bowl comes bathed in rich chili oil, with savory meat toppings adding that salty/umami punch. Despite the generous pour of chili oil, the spice level is actually pretty manageable. My only gripe? The noodles weren’t fully drained, which thinned out the flavors a bit.
From their regular Szechuan menu, I’ve tried the Mapo Tofu, Pickled Fish Fillet, and Braised Beer Duck. The first two were solid—not the best I’ve had around here, but still good. The Braised Beer Duck, though, was a different story; it was more of a chore than a meal. They serve it chopped bone-in, with barely any meat on the pieces, so I was pretty much left with picking around more bones than bites.
Overall, ia great spot to swing by for some straightforward, comforting Szechuan noodles. While I haven’t fully explored the rest of their menu, I’d suggest sticking with the noodles.“

“Very small and tucked away; but an absolute gem!! I ate here for the second time today with my mother (a pescatarian) and there were plenty of options for both of us. We personally recommend the fried rice options, but anything is good! Staff were very welcoming and friendly, service was pretty quick. Got a milk tea to go afterwards and it’s a 10/10 as well. Pricing is very fair and portions are large; If ordering a main dish, expect to either share or bring home more than enough for leftovers!!
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian options present on all sections of the menu.“

“These are the best soup dumplings I’ve ever had and the pan fried dumplings and turnip cakes were also top notch.
This place is a small casual spot with a few tables inside the Kam Man grocery store (when you enter the building, go straight and it will be on your right). Service is lovely. We also bought dumplings to make at home.
Highly recommend!“

“This Thai restaurant was recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint—absolutely delicious!
The Leng Zapp was amazing: the soup is sour and spicy, and while the first sip might be intense, it gets tastier once you get used to the flavour. The pork ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful—highly recommend! The pork leg had a slightly sweet taste, but it was well-seasoned and paired perfectly with the rice. The overall price is reasonable too.
The only downside is the limited seating, so be sure to arrive early!“

“The food at Café Mami was good, but the service was truly exceptional. The lady working there was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure our dining experience was as pleasant as possible. One downside is that the restaurant is quite small, with only two or three tables, so on a busy day, you might expect a long wait. However, the overall experience was very enjoyable, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.“

“A reliably fresh poke spot in Porter Square.
For the past few months, Ono Pokebar has been one of my go-to delivery spots for poke bowls, and that’s largely because of one key factor: consistency. The number one thing I look for in a poke bar is reliable portion sizes. When these places first open, they usually get great reviews for their generous servings, but give it a few months, and the portions start shrinking until they’re no different from any other run-of-the-mill poke spot. Sure, creative toppings and unique sauces can add some flair, but if I can’t count on consistent portions from visit to visit, I’m less likely to return.
That’s what sets Ono Pokebar apart. Most of the time, the bowls are served up by members of the owner’s family, so the portions are reliably the same every time. While they might not be the biggest bowls out there, they’re just the right size to leave me satisfied without worrying if I’ll still be hungry afterward.
When it comes to their poke, Ono Pokebar delivers exactly what you’d expect from a solid spot—fresh fish, flavorful sauces, and all the crunchy toppings that make a bowl satisfying. While they don’t have a ton of unique toppings, it’s the kind of reliable place I’d dash to the moment a poke craving hits.
Parking: Porter square plaza parking lot“
