“Great place for great fast food. No complaints.“
“Who doesn’t love a tasty combo of noodles and orange chicken? Sure, your girlfriend - or basically anyone who’s ever side-eyed your culinary choices - might claim that orange chicken just isn’t that into you. But let’s be real: when you get those sweet, tangy bites perched on a pile of steaming-hot noodles, it’s like a match made in foodie heaven.
Here’s the catch: this place really needs to keep those noodles piping hot. If they’re not, you’ll still enjoy them, but it’s kind of like watching a blockbuster movie with the sound off - some of the magic just disappears. All it would take is a little more care to turn a decent meal into something downright unforgettable.“

“What a great first visit! Nicholas S. was absolutely wonderful – so attentive and kind throughout our meal. He patiently answered all our questions and was genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food itself was excellent, and Nicholas really added to the positive vibe. We'll definitely be back!“

“Food is incredibly amazing quality and consistent. Takeout only, and a few lovely seats inside while you’re waiting. (Interior decoration is so fun to look at and simply enjoy.)
Sometimes I just drop by to pick up a viet iced coffee or thai iced tea. Always perfect. This place has become my comfort food!“

“What an amazing restaurant in the most ideal location in Lowell. Today was my first time having entered the beautiful location and had take out. I can without a doubt state that my husband and I will be coming in and be patrons because of the friendly service, unique style, and most definitely the fresh ingredients used in their menu. Thank you for helping me on a stressful day and so happy I finally came in!“

“My husband (who is vegan) and I were in the Boston/Cambridge area for work and selected Base Crave for our first meal out. We met two people from his job and noticed that the place was empty except for us and the staff. That worried me, but after eating, my only thought was “people need to eat here! They don’t know what they’re missing!” The 4 of us ordered vegetarian mo mo (omg - yum!), vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala (I didn’t try it but was told it was good), Tofu Mushroom stir-fry chilies mild which was okay, probably because we got it mild, Plantain curry (my hubby says fabulous!), plain naan (very good), and the Mushroom Stir-fry Noodles, mild. My husband and I agreed that the best things on the table were the Mo mo and the stir-fry noodles, both had fabulous flavor! We definitely recommend this place and would love to eat there again!“
“This is an intimate and rewarding eating experience. I have had lunch here 3 times, and not been disappointed once. Delicious and unusual items all through their expansive menu. For example I have had bitter mustard green soup, stuffef meat “sandwiches” that are more like pies, a crusty sweet potato “pancake” with seeds, sweet iced lavander latte, tofu dishes prepared wonderfully. The owners are friendly and appear to be managing a different kind of Asian fusion menu with an open mind, changing things up as they go. Because the previous tenant ran a pizza restaurant, they decided to offer Chinese pizza with unusual and original ingredients. Reasonably priced, parking availability in Huron Village might be the only drawback. Open every day of the wëek,
11am - 9:30pm.“

“I’m honestly glad that I waited to post my original review with a lower rating and thought through the experience a little bit more. As always, I find it a bit harder to review fusion spots. Not just any fusion either, but one that is all over the world map. It’s easy to just nitpick one dish and use it to judge everything else; but what about that is remotely fair?
For example, their Beef Rendang (a dish that I’m very familiar with - including the different regional renditions) is more like a hint towards what “real” Beef Rendang is. I don’t even need to speak on behalf of the Filipinos regarding their adobo (which I also grew up on) who are infamous to show up on public forums to criticize and say “that’s not how my grandmother makes it” (lol).
What did come to mind is the old quote that many often find negative but actually was meant to be a positive phrase (if the last part isn’t so often omitted). “Jack of all trades, master of none, though often times better than a master of one”.
That definitely applies here with their style of food. There’s a lot going on and a good portal to the true potential of each dish. Definitely give them a try! Portions are good and the food is definitely tasty!“
