The food here is amazing. However, I must ask that Aceituna write the name of the dish on the container, rather than just a number that vaguely corresponds to the order in which items appear on the receipt. This made the divvying up of orders quite difficult with over a dozen people.

Perhaps my favorite place for lunch. The baba ghanoush is some of the best I've ever had, and the pink sauce is magic.
This Mediterranean restaurant near MIT is a true gem! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and 100% Halal, which is a huge plus for anyone looking for high-quality options in the area.
From juicy grilled meats to fresh salads and warm pita, every dish is satisfying and made with care. The location is super convenient for MIT students and staff, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming—perfect for a quick lunch.

The amazing food at this place has led me to write my first review on Google Maps so that I can share the happiness Aceituna has provided me with.
The only place in Boston that serves authentic Lebanese fried cauliflower!! I’ve been missing this so much and Aceituna Grill made my day. I’ve had fried cauliflower at other places but none were as good or authentic. I’ve seen many people describe them in their reviews as “soggy” or “too burnt,” but trust me, this is how they’re supposed to be. Lebanese arnabit (cauliflower) isn’t battered and isn’t supposed to be half-fried where it barely has any color and is still crunchy. It’s supposed to have that brown/caramel color because it adds depth of flavor to the cauliflower. But if what you’re looking for is raw white cauliflower I’m sure there are many places around Boston that can provide that. But Aceituna Grill are providing authenticity and they took me back to my childhood in Beirut asking my mother for an arnabit sandwich. They definitely have a returning loyal customer in me! 🥙🧆🌯🥗🧄

Aceituna after dark : We recently booked what was advertised as a open table experience ($$$$), but unfortunately, the overall execution fell far short of expectations. The event took place in a small room behind a curtain—essentially a bar area inside what is otherwise a fast food establishment. It lacked the ambiance and setting of a proper restaurant, which was surprising given the experience’s price point. Seating arrangements clearly prioritized fitting in as many guests as possible over providing comfort. Bar stools and small tables—more suitable for children—offered no cushioning and were made of hard wood, making the overall setup uncomfortable and cramped. Of the four or five appetizer options advertised, one of the main dishes—meatballs—was unavailable, leaving tuna and a selection of vegetarian options. The main course, lamb, was very difficult to cut even with a steak knife and was dry, as though it had either been overcooked or prepared in advance. While the bartender was attentive and professional, the waiter was slow and at times handed dishes directly to me to place on the table myself. To make matters worse, a 21% service charge (18% tip and 3% kitchen fee) was automatically added to the bill. Despite this, the payment terminal still prompted for an additional tip without any clear indication that gratuity had already been included—leaving guests at risk of tipping twice. At this price, we expected a curated, comfortable, and professionally delivered dining experience. Unfortunately, what we received felt more like an overpriced, makeshift setup in an unconventional and ill-suited location.

pretty pricy, dry meat and lackluster flavor or spice or temperature even. And 16$ is certainly not worth

Tastes good but the portion size for the roll is way too small.

Bland meat, soggy cauliflower, tough pita. Overall pretty meh.
Edit: after eating a bit more of the meal, I've decided I like it even less! 3->2 stars. Pretty bad food.

Probably the worst fast food I have ever had. The Shawarma Meats were dried out. Thre was too much liquid in the salad. The Falafel was like little rocks, basically I threw most of the mail away
