Had some great food and wine here , croquettes we’re really tasty as was the agnolotti and empanadas. They actually give you a decent amount of cheese for the charcuterie which is nice. Bread was delicious as well. The olive oil cake was good but it might have been the best flan ive ever had. Ive had alot of flans that just srent my thing but when places get them right they are delicious and this one definitely exceeded expectations. I love tapas spots and this will be added as a return date spot for me and the wife.

I came from a fantastic evening at The Comedy Studio and an event at Herbwell Cannabis. Dacia and her team were absolutely amazing! In my opinion, this location is even better than the Boston one—it's much more intimate. The food was delicious, and the bartender made the best lemon drop I've ever had!

Highly Recommend!

I had high hopes for this place, and while the atmosphere and the bartender were great, the food was a major letdown. I ordered the “paella,” and I have to say—it was the worst paella I’ve ever had. Honestly, it felt like no effort was put into making it authentic. It consisted of tomato sauce, four shrimp, a bit of squid, and four clams, all mixed with the wrong type of rice that was dry and stuck to the pot. It was far from what a proper paella should be. For $30, I expected much better, especially for such a classic and iconic Spanish dish. I’d suggest the kitchen at least follow a proper recipe—it’s not hard to find one online. Fortunately, I only wasted $30, but it’s disappointing when you’re excited for Spanish food and end up with something so poorly executed. Stick to the tapas if you go—they seem to have those figured out. Your welcome!

The food was absolutely awful. The burrata was not burrata - just a small ball of mozzarella, and the acoutrements were tasteless. The Brussel sprouts must have been sitting in a pan all day, and the flank steak was gray, tasteless, grizzly... yuck!! The hostess / asst. Mgr was very nice, and our server was sweet and attentive. But nothing could save the experience. Have a glass of wine, but skip the food... these are not authentic, quality tapas at all.

I've been here three times in a short span as I've really enjoyed it. The tapas are not all great, but none are bad. The croquettes, truffled bikini, and patatas bravas are all great. The Squid ink big plate was interesting and a good value but not quite good enough to get again. The pork belly was also very yummy. I recommend getting something unexpected and unique, it's hard to go wrong.

Great tapas bar. Amazing prices for food quality! Didn’t get to try the wine but they had a huge selection. The croquetas were the star of the show, closely followed by charcuterie board. The squash hummus was not very flavourful, so maybe skip it. Would definitely come again and recommend sitting at the bar if you walk in!

This place is simply extraordinary. We sat at the bar for a drink while waiting for our table, but it turns out our bartender, Maggie, was so extraordinarily kind and attentive that we decided to have dinner at the bar. Best food, drinks and experience in Cambridge. Thank you Maggie!

The food is always consistent and it’s the cheapest place you can get tapas in the area by far, but every time we come we have to wait at least 30 minutes - at times close to an hour - after our reservation time to be seated. There is essentially no point in making a reservation because we have never been seated even remotely close to our reservation time. Adding insult to injury is the fact that they do this to everyone, so their small entryway is always packed with people waiting for their overdue tables.

Their reservation system is severely mismanaged and frustrating, and they need to either fix it or do away with it entirely.

We had a great experience last night at Barcelona Wine Bar in Cambridge! Bailey was our server. She was very knowledgeable of the wines that I inquired about. Food was yummy!

Mussels in paella gone bad if not rotten. Stumbled upon a mine of stink. Service response wasn’t satisfactory either.

Hadn't been to Barcelona Wine Bar in a while, so I was excited to check out their Cambridge location. We came as a group of six on a busy Saturday night, and as expected, the place was packed. Ended up waiting 20 minutes past our reservation time, and the service after that was pretty slow too.

Favorites: Potato Tortilla
Solid: Eggplant Caponata, Flat Iron Steak, Truffled Bikini, Paella Mariscos
Decent: Pork Belly, Bacon Wrapped Dates, Squid Ink Fideos

The menu hasn’t changed much, though they’ve added a few interesting new items. My go-to dishes—Potato Tortilla, Truffled Bikini, and Paella Mariscos—were as good as ever. But maybe I’ve been spoiled by newer tapas spots, because aside from the Flat Iron Steak, nothing else really stood out. Some dishes were over-seasoned, others just felt like standard tapas.

For a classic tapas experience, Barcelona Wine Bar certainly delivers at an affordable price, especially for groups. If I return, I’ll probably stick to my usual favorites (being adventurous with the menu didn’t really pay off this time).

Food is outstanding, good quality and tasty. You can judge it by the quality of the olive oil served with the house bread. Also, the red sangria was the best Ive ever had outside Spain.

The “patatas bravas” + “jamon croquetas” were a great suggestion from our server Aby.

We ordered half portions of the paella (mariscos and selvaje). Great dishes if you’re hungry.

Glad that the owners opened this branch of “Barcelona” in Cambridge. Please, keep up with the great food!
