I had a Grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of Butternut soup. The sandwich was greasy, and they don't have a healthier option for the house-made bleached flour ciabatta!
I asked the waiter to look at the package, which only said the bread was made with wheat flour. Ingredients are typically described that way, without saying they use bleached flour! Deceptive!
It's disappointing that bread companies STILL do this.
The Butternut soup had sugar in it, which is totally unnecessary, and takes away from the Butternut squash taste.
The fries were too greasy.
My meal could have been so much better...😑

Staff was disrespectful and patronizing towards our large group of acclaimed international scholars who were there to celebrate a birthday. Apparently, the person in charge was upset that we were trying to add chairs to our large table, even though there was ample room and the group was not obstructing traffic. If there were safety issue that needed enforcing, that could have been explained politely. Instead, the staff person was rude, unfriendly and unwelcoming. We will have our next gathering somewhere else.

A very quiet Tuesday lunch, indoors. The booth table had a few crumbs on it and was sticky. And I was the first customer at it.
The waitress was correct in recommending the fish and chips. The breading was good and the fish filled it. The portion was very good and the price reasonable. But
1. Everything lacked flavor. Slaw was bland, said breading could have had salt and spice
2. The fries, as indicated, were thin. I'm OK with no salt on these, but the ones on top were fine but the rest got cold fast and became soggy from the slaw.
I'd go back and order it again but either replace them or ask for fries on the side. Keep the salt n pepper nearby.

We thought this was a nice affordable restaurant in the area. We had food here multiple nights and have nothing but great things to say. The English Burger and the Roasted Chicken Dinner is good. I’d recommend those as well as the Warsteiner Pilsner on the beer menu. 😁

Really awesome, chill restaurant in Cambridge. Great food and a big menu. The burgers are awesome and you can’t beat their curly fries. Fast, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. This place is the spot.

I spontaneously decided to celebrate my birthday at Cambridge Commons and posted a notice in my college group chat. Over the course of the evening, more than 30 friends showed up. While we initially had a swell time, with professional service, the mood turned when a friend brought a small birthday cake for me to cut. Someone who identified themselves as the manager shouted aggressively that outside food was not allowed. I told them that we were here to celebrate my birthday, that both the event and the cake were spontaneous, that I was prepared to pay a birthday cake fee, and even proposed to merely cut the cake on video, so that me and my friends could eat the cake later at home. All to no avail. I am utterly disgusted that an establishment I picked to celebrate my birthday, and where my friends and I spent easily over 500 dollars, would treat us in such a rude way and deny such a reasonable request. I understand a policy not to bring one’s own meal to a restaurant, but someone bringing a small birthday cake to a gathering of 30 people (all of whom bought at least two beers) is of course not comparable to a single guy bringing his own hotdog to a bar. It really dampened the mood on my birthday, and Cambridge Commons should do better.

Ordered a well done steak. I'm starving. These steak tips arrived rare. Raw. Not what I wanted.
