It’s ok. Service is super nice but the food is pretty standard. They have a nice selection of digestive though.
Cozy little place with Friday oyster specials. The staff is great and prices reasonable. Right off the T line- don’t miss the hidden bar upstairs.

I had a reservation but when I got there, the place was closed for a private event. And no one ever alerted us. Not sure what to make out of it.
Mussels were great. The carpaccio was solid. The raclette was decidedly mediocre - mostly the veg it came with - bland and uninspired. The hot toddy was awesome!
The sautéed pear dessert was out of this world.
Food is great. Drinks and wine even better
Excellent intimate restaurant and bar right in central square. My group went here for a birthday party and had an excellent time. Our food was all amazing (great steak frites, lamb burger, mussels) as were the drinks (great cocktails). The service was good and the vibe inside the restaurant was really nice (dark lighting, kind of loud). Overall it was a great place to have a small bday get together and one I highly recommend.
Unpretentious place with great food!

Quaint restaurant with a good cocktail selection. We ordered the mussels and the devil eggs as appetizers and the seafood bouillabaisse. The mussels were so good we had a second order. This is a must if you like mussels.
This was our second time at Central Kitchen; this time we were joined by another couple. The food was excellent (again), but the service was terrible! Our server spent more time chatting with another patron at the bar than attending to her tables. We had to waive her down to bring us our drinks, and then again to bring our starter (both of which were ready and waiting once she checked for them). I'm torn whether to return. The food was excellent, but (for me, at least) feeling a bit “pampered” is an important element to dining out, and this time I felt anything but.
We love Central Kitchen and were dismayed to learn recently that they are most likely closing soon to make way for a marijuana shop. This place, located next to Central Square's Graffiti Alley, is low-key, intimate, and reliably dishes up solid, well-executed Mediterranean fare. The octopus appetizer consists of two meaty but tender tentacles with grilled bitter greens; the steak frites is not just gigantic but comes with a pat of roquefort butter and aioli for dipping the frites, as is only proper. The wine list is smallish but thoughtful, and they have calvados. (Mmmm, calvados...) The service is affable and efficient. Fans of classic continental cuisine should check CK out while they still can!
Best mussels and steak frites that we have ever had. We have been making the journey here at least once a year for years. Never disappoints!
Noisy, but otherwise pleasant. Could use a better wine list, but that's always hard to come by. Great lamb burgers, all food tasty and well-presented.
